I think Ruby is Phelan's apprentice. She's in infant school, so it's only low level, but by the time she's 9 she'll be running rackets and disposing of enemies.

I can't remember which way round Tyrone's children are, but whichever one everyone thinks it is, I think it's the other one.

Ruby is Tyrone's DD (mother Kirsty)

Hope is Fizz's DD (father John Stape)

I don't know if they've been able to adopt each other's IYSWIM. As Stape is dead, it would probably be fairly straightforward for Tyrone to adopt Hope, Kirsty went abroad and I don't think there has been any attempt to adopt.

Both girls have a weirdo criminal for one biological parent, so if there's anything in nature (parallel with nurture) it could come out from either

Hetty I think that too. When the trampoline was set on fire and given the difficulty of doing that I was hoping that Kirsty would be lurking around the corner.

Apparently Gemma is going to sleep with Tyrone so that Fizz will have a storyline to emote on. Not looking forward to that. I think they should have explored Fizz's ridiculous notions about Ruby being a bad'un due to her maternal parentage (as if 'Ope having a kidnapper and murderer for a father and a mother who shifted dead bodies and defrauded money from a will is superior)

When are Gemma and chesney going to get together? I may actually start liking chesney if that happens.

What's going on with Michelle's son? Im confused I thought she had one son Ryan?

Not relevant, but Roy used to go to my gym. We did spinning together. Wierd. Then he moved to Spain I think.

Porkless - IIRC in a ridiculous storyline when Michelle lived the first time with Steve at the pub she found out that her baby had been swapped at birth (by accident)so Ryan was not her biological son. She met Alex but I think it caused a lot of tension with Ryan who didn't want to pursue a relationship with his biological parents and there was also problems with the parents and Alex so contact was cut. I think it was a story best left to the mists of time.

blackbunny I think Fizz pretended to be Colin Fishwick's widow when "colin" was tracked down to the street (where John Stape had assumed his identity). Colin's widow inherited his sister's money and later a house - the proceeds of which Fizz allowed to be transferred to her account and she spent some of the money. I don't think she was ever prosecuted for it - she also helped John Stape move dead bodies.

What I can't recall is if Fizz was never prosecuted for this deception. I know she went to prison for a while but that was because she was accused of the murders Stape had carried out and convicted of the Fishwick murder. Surely, if found innocent of the actual murder she should then have been prosecuted for acquiring his money by deception? Was it all just dropped?

Anyway, Fizz's holier than thou attitude to everyone and propensity to want the police called at any opportunity is strange given her own actions in the past.

Gemma and Tyrone? Surely not! She is destined for Chesney, they are made for each other, and would have such pretty children.....

SPOILERS AHEAD.

The fun and games to come in the week ahead seem to be:

Rooby and 'Ope set to work at the factory with an electric saw (probably getting the job done quicker than Phelan). Fizz has come back and takes 'Ope to live at Chesney's away from mini Kirsty/devil child's influence (if Fizz really believes in hereditary violent tendencies doe she not worry that 'Ope will be a murderer?) Ty makes a move on Gemma.

Nathan appeals his "sentence" the details of which have never been revealed to us. Bethany may have to testify again so glasses a look a like customer at the new nastier lap dance club for which you don't need ID and which the police don't raid - except when a customer gets glassed.

Hurray! Tim is back (sans Faye who I assume is taking leave to study for her GCSE's) and tells Sally they can stay on t'street. Never satisfied Sally wants a house makeover.

A drunken Zeedan makes a move on Leanne and Kate finds out about Rana's sham marriage (zzz...).

Craig moves in with Alya and Kate leaving a spare room in Maria's magic expanding flat.

The writers have remembered Jude and Angie (did they have to?) Angie gets an accountant's job with Adam and Imran - cos a backstreet solicitors needs a ft accountant (?) Jude is being picky/reluctant about job hunting but needs to borrow money from Mary for Angie's birthday present. Is he hiding something? Who cares.

Phelan has to move the bodies but it puts his life in peril. The net is closing (yet again) as Tim finds out about the Flat deposit scam and tells Eileen who begs him to keep shtum.

Billy is missing. Presumably he is visiting heaven with Lee. Eileen seems to have got her hands on Summer and won't give her back to Geraldine. (I thought that storyline had thankfully ended with the sweet scene at the school gates)

MORE SPECIFIC SPOILERS

Philan moves the bodies from the lake to a handy foundation column and pours concrete on top of them, Eileen calls mid-bury and the phone vibrates off into the hole, Philan fumbles trying to catch it and falls into the concrete, knocking some scaffolding on top of himself.

Tim turns up in the nick of time and rescues him - Le sigh!

I think he is like Rasputin. He has survived numerous physical attacks (Gary in the early days, being koshed by Gandy etc) is always in the right place at the right time to overhear information that will foil any attempt to get evidence on his crimes. He easily overpowers, strong younger men such as Luke, Gandy and Vinny and is a precision shooter.

They are lining up Eileen to bring him down. I hope he is not just pushed overboard or the like but actually has to admit to his crimes. If he is "offed" then he could always return in a few years to terrorise the neighbourhood again.

Not sure what was more shocking; Billy in a heroine-fueled haze, or Liz’s red leggings!

Stu Where did they find those shiny spandex leggings. Haven't seen those since a roller disco in the late 70's!

Kikashi, I think I read that Eileen pushes him over a cliff.

Hetty ahhh. Then we'll never know where Vinny's mum is being looked after. Anna will rot in prison (until the actress wants to return) and Andy's body will not be found. I suppose he could a full and free confession first.
