megafemme I'm so sorry to hear about your student and your friend. This has happened in our family recently and it has been utterly devastating and life changing. Glad that you mentioned the statistic but unfortunately it's actually 84 men per week in the UK that take their own lives, not per month. That's 12 per day. Suicide is the biggest killer for men under 45 in the UK.

If you want to help there is a campaign at the moment, more information here - Project Eighty Four. You can sign the petition to request that there is an MP responsible for suicide prevention and bereavement support and there's various other ways to help there too.

I'm glad that Corrie has included this as a storyline as it has opened up the conversation about mental health issues. I hope it saves lives.

She's the daugther of the policeman who raped Bethany (Neil Something?), and she must know who Bethany is. She's old enough to have known about the court case.

Her taking that job and chatting up Craig might all be part of a plan to get to Bethany for whatever reason.

If Spider came back he could open a juice bar with Toyah (as I think they did went they left way back) in the new set. I was sad when Emily gave Norris her house as I thought Emily would leave it to Spider and so he would return.

I read that the actress who plays Toyah has hated the baby story line. I feel they have really wasted both her and Peter's return.

How are they going to make Sean homeless? He had 2 jobs for literally years while only renting a room and seemingly spending very little on nights out or personal items. He must have loads of money saved, no?

How ridiculous - Sean must have a big stash. Isn't he supposed to have a job in a trendy bar in the city centre and living at Fizz's? He has been friend and close to lots of Street residents who surely would let him sofa surf. I don't think Norris would leave him out on the Streets or Eileen or Liz or Billy.

the article says we are going to see a nice side of Sean - a vunerable side - I thought that was the only side we ever saw? Can't say I've missed him being around.
