Forget the 50s, have we gone back a decade? Haircuts, makeovers, decent tasks and conversations? Just the shopping list to return...

I want the BB cleaners to come round mine. I'll just have to leave the house for a couple of months so they can make a good start.

Quite possibly Chilly perhaps it was her favourite series and she wanted to recreate that extreme drama, but go no takers. There are a lot of calm and measured people in that house. Shane L and Ashley for example. Both seem quiet and quite self contained. Ann, Amanda, Rachel and Wayne would all say exactly what they think, but not indulge in a shouting match. Malika probably the same I think. If anything I think the men more likely to go all out for a row.

Can you believe it was Summer 2004 when that series was on. This series might be all the more fascinating for what we're not seeing as for what we're shown. The Ginuwine and Ashley storyline really bores me.

Ooh a good shopping list is a sure fire way to mix it up. Nothing like it for stirring it up between the foodies and the boozy/faggies!

Lads like Andrew who rely on that cheeky chappy, flirty persona are usually tediously insecure. I think we saw a bit of that when he was talking with Courtney alone in the fag area. Can’t remember what he was saying but he was fishing for reassurance and Courtney was resolutely ignoring it/not being drawn in to pat him on the head and say “there, there”.

I also find the almost Pavlovian response to Courtney’s hyperfemininity very strange. I think Courtney looks amazing but in a theatrical, artistic, extreme glamour kind of way - I don’t really see her as particularly looking female. And the boys know she’s not female, know it’s all padding, adhesive and a metric fuckton of make up but they still end up salivating. Make up trends in general have been swaying toward the “drag queen chic” for the last few years with all the massive false eyelashes and contouring etc. Are boys and men being trained to find that sexually arousing as opposed to the natural femininity of a women, I wonder dons tin foil hat.

Hello you amazing women - I've read all these CBB posts and you have made me laugh and kept me sane through all the IW nonsense.
I'm also about to donate to the gofundme thing that a PP alluded to (managed to find it OK).

Just posting now mainly to ask a very dull question - PPs have mentioned AW's and RJ's respective newspaper columns that they appear to have written from inside the house. Is this right and if so, why is it being allowed?

Last night on CBB, Shane/Courtney reminded me of a spider playing with his prey, Andrew, trapped in his web. He knows exactly what he is doing.

Haven't got a clue as to the two people who will leave next.

Why do people on this forum keep saying that Andrew wants to show he is fine around gay people ? Bit of a sweeping statement. Why wouldn’t Andrew be okay around gay people ? He’s young for a start. It’s not like he’s never seen a gay person before. Personally I think JB looks more awkward around Courtney/Shane.

FYI I don’t like Andrew. I think he’s spreading it a bit thin.
Also wanted to say after reading up top, I loved bb5 it was my absolute favourite. What a mix of housemates. I loved Michelle Bass thought she was a fascinating housemate.

Hungover here too perf. The crappy kind of feeling but not being sick that lasts all day 🤢 even had very Not Diet Friendly mcds breakfast to try to cure it. Plus side, at least I burnt a load of calories dancing to cheesy 90s dance music!
