I'm not sure who is doing a duet with who though. Or if that will be tomorrow. Or if Nicole will be half-cut on stage singing 'it should have been me' during Sam's set.

I am feeling a bit better this week- though lingering headaches remain. I haven't had a drink for a fortnight, and can't really face the final sober, so might get some mulled and mince pies to tide me over.

I have so much to do. Two wasted weekends have left me with loads of stuff I need to sort. Like costumes for nativity plays. But I'm getting out of taking dd1 to her football match too bloody cold and dh is the manager, after all..

I miss Gavin & his murderous ways

I watched a bit with the sound low and was reading. Mostly I've been thinking about the three items I'm going to demand in the care home. So far I have soup, wine and a wi-fi connected tablet.

I have finished decorating my wonky tree. The rest of the house looks like a bomb went off in it (I am not even kidding. I have no idea where all that shite came from) but I am too tired to finish tidying it all up tonight.

nancy it went well, I think. I got to do a few little tasks- the training consists of being chucked into the bottom of a whirlpool and hoping that you won't drown. I can not believe the amount of time is wasted on pointless shit though! Also, who knew that there were so many perverts and murderers about? I now do.

And yes, I got to wear a cape. Thank goodness I do not have to wear one of those stupid wigs because they look like they were made for lice to have somewhere to call home.

training sounds interesting though! did you go for the red nails? agree that the wigs the barrister wigs they wear are a bit sinister - in a very modern world the old traditions stay the same.

I've just been reading (in the sidebar of shame) that Nicole was really not happy about not being asked to duet with Kevin. I think even she would have been better than just having Tokio there. He was definitely robbed.

It did seem as if they are pushing Tokio a bit here - he has already won a reality show and seems to be doing well - others had singers with them too. Stitched up! Still, its a platform for young talent, so lets hope he can carry on and succeed without having to work for Si and co.
I had my suspicions about Rat soup from the get go, they had ages on the auditions right at the first episode and hardly ever criticised.

Maybe Tokio's album isn't selling so well. I've never noticed x-BGT/X Factor acts pushed as much as they have been this year. Once, it would be the previous winner, and that was it. This year, we have had pretty much all the Wandies, Pin Head, Little MIx at every ad break, Tokio, winners from Simon's US shows are getting in on the act - though Kelly Clarkson has appeared more than once in the past, and Adam Lambert was the duet person last year. And I thought that was a low point.
