Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

I am irritated by the presence of both Rebekah and Stanley. Neither is really s celebrity in their own right and if they have health issues which prevent them from doing the trials, then they have no right to be taking the money and going on this show.

I reckon Rebekah is pg and that is why she can't do certain trials.

Yes, I wondered about her being pregnant but could she survive on rice and beans? I suppose she could be being fed off screen. Thing is, if she was pregnant and they wanted to hide it they could just lie about the votes she got.

Just came on to express my disgust at Amir. Really showed his true colours, what a pathetic coward. He couldn't give a shit about Toff, completely ignored her when she was covered in bugs.
Showed no shame whatsoever at his abject failure. I hope he gets picked for every trial and is covered in snakes from top to toe!

I like Toff. I think she is fun and good value, and damn right she should make sure the campmates know who was responsible for them being hungry.

OneInAMillionYou - I agree about Toff. She soon broke down my innate prejudice against posh people! But I don't blame Amir for wimping out; I would've done! I couldn't have done the plank thing either. I'm always impressed by how much torture they can stand!

Been interesting to see how it'd gone if it been the other way round. Hopefully he won't get all the trails though as does get boring after a while.

I also voted for him to do the next challenge after his wimpy try at his first one 😂

I read somewhere last year that when ruled out of medical grounds for being submerged under water it’s to do with breathing problems.

I can go under water for 20 seconds or so but that’s my whack, I physically cant last any longer I can’t inhale enough air and this is a reason to be ruled out on medical grounds apparently so maybe the same for them.

To be honest I don’t think they would allow you in the jungle if you were pregnant either.

I hate Amir Khan I think he done that just for badness or because he couldn’t be bothered yesterday rather than being really scared.

Was out last night and managed to watch it on +1. Oh my, what a total wuss Amir is... he was barely trying I think and I would much rather be doing what he was doing than lying there covered in critters like Toff.

Also would like to know why Rebekah is excluded from the challenge? So far she's got away with just sticking her hand in a hole, and gently slipping into a cold pool.

Is Amir the new Gillian? Even if he has never seen the programme surely someone would have told him that to survive you have to get through your first challenge smiling. Show weakness and the circling GBP will pounce.

Well that was a letdown, Amir was rubbish Toff got a bit annoying though I thought, kept harping on a bit too much, if Amir wimpes out tonight then he is definitely going to be voted for all trials, which gets a bit annoying after a while, as other celebs are not seen very much.

I always think if a celeb has done 2 trials in a row they should be exempt from the next one. Never happens tho! Think the. GBP can be a bit bullying at times...( do think Amir deserves it in this case however ) 😱

Hi all - Can I join? I work evenings so watch the next day! Just caught up - I know Toff from Celebs go Dating and she is really sweet and quirky. Don’t blame her for being pissed off with Amir - yes it’s scary but surely his whole persona is about not being a quitter?! Says me who’d still be on the plane yelling nooo I’m not jumping

Quite like most of them so far. Shappi and Dennis are coming across well, not sure yet about Jamie and Becky but it’s early days.

I felt quite distressed at watching Toff trying to rid herself of the bugs and Amir just stood by and never offered to help.

Amir was utterly rubbish at the trial, but I can't call him a wuss, there's no way in hell I'd be crawling through that, I hate even sitting on a park bench for fear of a bug being anywhere near it!
And ffs, I hope toffee puts her bloody hair up for her next trial - what was she thinking
