Was at the tennis again tonight so had to record but couldn't go to bed until we'd watched it, admittedly with a LOT of fast forwarding through the ghastly VTs and post mark gushing.
I found it a really disappointing show overall. Am actually thinking I may part ways with Strictly.
This year's casting is, in my opinion, the worst year ever. The only dance I was looking forward to tonight was Gemma and Aljaz, and that mainly for Aljaz personality and his delightful partnering. She did well though.
The unsuitable music choices, totally alien to the character of each dance, the idiots in the audience clapping out of time to every song, the ugly costumes and colour schemes this week..
Blackpool is as bad as Halloween now. I hope to see some delightful ballroom with beautiful gowns in the next few weeks but I'm not holding my breath.
Again. In my view, Strictly seems to have picked up many of the worst elements from Dancing With The Stars. It's a shame.
Johnny looked hurt by the posture comments, but he is really phoning it in now and deserves to go. Were we supposed to be moved that Kevin has been wanting to do that Paso since he was eight??
Sorry to be a downer but I found it very dispiriting, and yes, I also can't stand the extra dancers on the floor, couldn't even see the main couple at some points.
