I read a comment saying that this year's contestants are so serious. Alex, Gemma and Deb def are. Johnnie doesn't care but he isn't even a comedy contestant so could leave tomorrow and it'd make no difference.

I don’t think they’re all particularly serious - although they are working very hard. Debbie is obviously having a whale of a time despite her relatively recent widowhood. Gemma has a very bubbly video edit. Alex I grant you is more intense but she’s very recently bereaved and also has a particularly full-on personality. I wouldn’t want fifteen Alexs in the mix but one person with that personality is fine - gives the show light and shade.

Ore wasn't on Tuesday's ITT, Grouchy. It was Erin Boag. You're safe to watch.

I was looking for a non-smiling photo of AJ to show DH re the resemblance to Ceaucescu and then I found this and now I am so conflicted.

Saw this tweet from Giovanni, it's the first time he's mentioned the rumours. Must get tedious that every time you're anywhere near a woman the press start a story.

The press are relentless at cresting gossip and non stories whenever Strictly season starts. They tried it with Aljiaz and Daisy last year and they're doing it again with just about any of them.

I agree, it's tedious but some people seem to believe them.

You need a very low percentage of body fat to look like AJ does in that photo. I imagine the male dancers all have those muscles but a good number have enough body fat to hide them a bit.

I always ignore all the gossip as it gets ridiculous.

Gethin (sp?) wasn't bad as a stand in for Zoe, better than when he does those silly interviews behind the scenes with the celebs/pros etc. We saw 2 men dancing together!!!!!! Ian and Gethin did it well!
