According to youtube my most watched Strictly routines (hence I'm guessing the rest of my top 5):

Scott and Natalie's jive
Lisa and Brendan's quickstep
Peter and Janette's paso
Mark and Karen's salsa (the one where the mike got tangled!)

Which just edges out Tom and Camilla's show dance, and Zoe and Ian's show dance. I also have fond memories of Julian and Erin's paso but I've never been able to find a recording of it.

It's strange that some of the early series dances aren't online, you'd think the Beeb would put them up as fans like to search for them. I've been looking for Brenda's Paso with Sarah Manners, which I recall being very gothic and intense but can't find it anywhere!

Jill's Jive will always have a special place in my heart, I remember being so blown away by it. Back before the days of high concept...

I also loved Jay's Pulp Fiction jive.

Remember the mike-tangling salsa very fondly too.

Austin and Erin's waltz (I think) to The Rainbow Connection is one of my favourites.

Mark & Karen's AT is probably my favourite dance. Closely followed by Jill's Jive.

Just watched all those dances back. Thanks for the reminders! Also watched Darcey's jive and American smooth with Ian Waite. She was incredible, she just looks so awkward now when she does that little dance at the beginning.

Does anyone else feel like the professional dancers routines in the results show aren’t as well choreographed this year? Too much focus on camera tricks and the camera work makes it harder to see how they all move around the floor. Loved kevin and Karen’s one last year... must find it on you tube 😏

I enjoyed the Halloween one too from last year. I think my favourite one has got to be the Romeo and Juliet themed Argentine Tango with Oksana and Gorka.

I think I am the only person who liked the GoT themed pro dance that was loosely based on a paso, but I haven’t been blown away by many of the other pro dances. There was one, quite early on, I think - but can’t remember what! The speed dating and the Prince one, and Brendan’s sex dream, were just a bit rubbish really.

Sorry to go back to the Aston removal (my laptop's been playing up). But I was surprised to hear Janette did not mention that it was STYLE of their VW dance on ITT. The were so sad about it. They forget that the public don't vote for ringers much, he's not had a journey. Also that the judges go for PROPER dances and music (like Deb's tango.) Janette's was too much of a mish mash.

I liked Shirley's demo of the cha cha yesterday.

Yes I totally agree Grouchy . The camera man seems to be IN the bloody dances recently ,it's crazy ! Calmers…. calmers….. cool it…. I say!!

We don't all want to watch an exhausting OTT pro dance (let alone thinking about the stress dancers must be under with everything going so fast) Someone should have the guts to tell the choreographer\director!!

I've just remembered that Darren and Lilia were a lovely partnership. Their AS isn't mind-blowingly good, but so so charming. As was all their ballroom.

Yes, they were adorable, though I can't say I remember any of their routines specifically. I can remember loving Aled and Lilia as a couple, though again, I can't remember any specific dances. Wish they were on Youtube.

I agree about the pro ballroom routines as well. I used to love Brendan and the utterly wonderful Natalie dancing together.

D&L's AS is on You Tube. Haven't had time to look for any others, but I can see at a quick look that there's some of their dances from the tour on there too.

Yes I reckon one of the reasons that Mollie and AJ won instead of Aston and Jeanette was because their dance was sweet; the music and costumes were old fashioned. they danced it well. even better in the DO.

Did anyone see Shirley on Loose Women today (Ruth wasn't on panel today btw)?

It was interesting to hear her talk about herself and her background and family

I liked Darren and Lilia, they were both (but D especially) good at choreographing to their partner's strengths and not their own.

Just catching up with ITT - another truly awful dress for Gemma. What on earth has Gemma done to Vicky Gill ??!!

On ITT yesterday, poor Gemma revealed she was injured, hence the problem with the lifts , Aliaz showed himself to be less than sympathetic; I would've got rid of that first lift. You could see the support\bandages, they showed a close up of them on the exposed part of her waist\ribs , I must admit I didn't notice

The Cors were good at the beginning and not so good at the end!

I used I like the Corrs and to be honest, I didn't think Andrea's voice is as good as it was in the 90s.

I used to watch So You Think You Can Dance? -Is this still going?!(somehow doubts it)

However years and years ago now, I remember watching a show with non Celeb Dancers getting eliminated each week,Not sure if they were pro Dancers or not, they did some amazing routines.
Does anyone remember this?

Got the wine and crisps at the ready! Just wish the show lasted as long as it used to do! ah well soon be two dances each?!
