I saw him in Panto a few years ago and you can’t deny you get value for money - he sings, he dances, he flirts with everything with a pulse, he shamelessly tarts for audience applause to the point of crouching down as the curtain descends in order to do one last wave.

Nice try but still adore him! Lord knows what Monkseal would say about that, mind!

Yes Barrowman is perfect in panto because he’s totally committted to making sure the audience is entertained and will go to any lengths to achieve that.

I have been to see John barrowman in concert it was as camp as a row of tents he was brilliant and because he did it in his scottish accent he was even funnier.

I noticed that about Jo and her Debbie comments - i read on here that people saw her wobble a few times and its odd that Craig didnt notice this either considering how pedantic he is about the minor things with everyone else. ( i like Craig, but he seems blinded by her!!)
No denying she is a fantastic dancer, but I can't warm to her at all either , she has a hard look about her - I bet she used to trample over everyone in her youth to get what she wanted and really didnt care who she upset along the way, and i am always wary of people like that.

I like Darcey as long as she sticks to advice that she actually knows her stuff on, and stays away from talking about ballroom/Latin technique. She is always good on things like mood, performance and the way people partner each other and show each other off.

And don't forget the neck Darcy can fill hours talking about necks

DD used to see JB in panto at the Secc in glasgow with the krankies the Krankies replaced him with the hoff he spoke about it at his concert and said the Krankies could stick the hoff up their arse then he said they probably would enjoy that

Apparently Janette has no formal Latin or ballrooms training, so why on earth is she on Strictly? I blame her for Aston's exit, imagine him dancing with someone like Aliona. Would have been amazing.

Janette was discovered on So You Think You Can Dance (similar to Karen) - they haven't had much if any ballroom training. Are there really that few adult dancers that have been through all the Latin and ballroom competitions that don't want to do strictly? Seems odd.
I briefly met a past pro in the last week and he said he thought Debbie will win, he was very definite about it. Made me think that the show is being geared towards her winning. It'll be interesting to see how she gets on with the other Latin dances, they are sure not to be worthy of a 40 so I wonder whether the judges will be glass-half-full with the scoring or not.

Aston with Flavia or Aliona would have been brilliant. Janette is, in my view, the weakest of the female celebs

Mrs Jamin, you met a pro who used to be on Strictly? Interesting to think Debbie will win because I'm not convinced she's as popular with the public as she is with the judges. I think she'll be in the final because even if she's in the DO, the judges will save her.

Yes I noticed that he’d apparently nicked my simile. There is (or used to be) a MNer who’s a prolific commenter on his blog so I thought maybe she’d mentioned it in the summary comments but I couldn’t see it.

I like Darcy. Despite her neck obsession ( and her demonstrations of necks). She is always positive and not as showy as the others. I am not keen on Shirley. I miss Len and his pickled walnuts or whatever they were.
