Aw I love Anton. He has just filled a pram so must be doing alright bless him. I do kind of know what you mean, he has always been debonair but not really considered sexy. Which is a shame really, I think he was quite sexy in his cha cha with Fiona Fullerton (and not because of the microphone that looked like an erection) rather he can carry off a hat.
But with him being the eldest and having had elder women and choreographing comedy, his sex appeal has been replaced by a reassuring vibe. If he tried sexy now, I'm not sure how it would come across. With Erin it was always elegant and class and I don#t think he did Argentine until Katie.
I would love him to get a partner me of similar age, where the chemistry was sizzling, to see another side of him, I really would.

Poor Aston suffered the crap music/themed choices as well as weaker choreography. Right choice between the two on that dance but overall I tend to forget molly exists .
I’m a Johnnie fan but he didn’t get my vote this week as I felt his time is up.

Oh and loved Neil and Chloe’s dance with the Stereophonics!

I don't watch SCD for the Slebs and the only two I can name on this years show are Anton and Oti. Ive no idea who anyone else is.

Just catching up a bit:

a) I don't agree with a PP that the VW is dull . It should be a charming and beautiful dance. I still remember Mark Ramprakash's VW so they stay with me when they are good. It's my favourite dance and I think lots of people love it.

b) people going out with and marrying people form the same profession is not at all odd or incestuous! 29% of teachers are married to teachers! Athletes marry athletes, ice skaters marry each other, police marry each other etc etc etc.

So much time in dancing is spent travelling and in each other's' pockets it is hardly surprising they become close and don't get a chance to meet many non dancers.

I'm a non-dancer with little idea re dance. The dark haired female pros tend to blend into one,for me. There's not much recognition there. I notice Oti and Nadiya because they look different, Amy as the first Welsh one, Karen as the only English one. Chloe reminds me of Tracy Barlow so I recognise her every week. Kristina, I remember for all the wrong reasons. I didn't watch it when Camilla was in it.

i cant remember an Anya as a pro ? did she not do many shows ?

I don't know. Trent only did one - there was rumour that he wanted his wife Jordanna signed up and producers declined.
Gleb got a better offer - DWTS pays more (he hasn't had ringer partners there though)
Anya was lovely and did well with Patrick. Not sure why she wasn't signed up again.
Jared's face didn't fit but I still liked him and Tina's Charleston.
Maybe producers judge pros on the phone votes but it strikes me as being somewhat unfair seeing as public are voting slebs rather than pros.

I don't get the criticism of pro dancers being "incestuous". It's not that big a world and it's no different from doctors marrying nurses or people getting together in the office. Janette and Aljaz have been a couple ever since they arrived on Strictly.

I think as well where the training is done depends on where the celeb is based. I know from following Susan on Twitter that Kevin has been flying up to Glasgow on a Monday for training and travelling back to London overnight on Wednesday/Thursday so they can train around her filming committments. If Gemma is still doing her radio show in Manchester, Aljaz will be there most of the week with her and returning to London for the studio rehearsals on Thursday/Friday.

Alexandra and Aston were most definitely in the same studio which is in North London, can't remember exactly but Arnos Grove / Southgate area.

Wow, that Pasha dance every man's fantasy there don't normally get the Pasha love but he does look bloody hot in that!! Don't think he is ageing very well!

I still miss Tristan he bought something different to the show and shame he decided it wasn't for him!

Joanne dyed her hair twice - brunette then plum before being allowed to go back to her natural blonde after Ola and Kristina left
Aliona hated the flame red dye and eventually settled on a strawberry blonde
Karen had to lighten her hair this series presumably because of Amy

It's to prevent the pros all looking alike but it's daft IMO
Dwts - Artem had to go blonde this season. Shana has been the flame red one for years (like Dianne/Aliona). But that said I could not tell Lindsey/Whitney/Jenna apart. Emma yes, but the others are blonde 1, blonde 2 and blonde 3.
