and the new twists etc are all a bit of a mess- so listen very carefully Grin

I will be out (out) so to cheer myself up, I am starting the thread a bit early.

And the new format is a bit confusing. Grin
Simon has definitely washed his hands of it all- so the Great British Public will be responsible for all the votes, no judges votes at all.
Someone will leave on Saturday, and Sunday as well (I think). There will be no deadlock.

And the top two acts get to sing again to compete to win great prizes Grin (I think Simon has been watching Crackerjack (crackerjack)).

The categories are split over the nights - I think.

Told you it was confusing.

The wildcards haven't officially been announced, so don't know what they are singing. And I'm sad about the lack of Hallowe'en songs.

Some of the song choices are very odd- and I think the ones who sing original songs are at real disadvantage with the GBP.

Anyway. Off to watch dd1 play football in the rain. Will check in later, before I go off to my party.

This sounds like a mishmash of Michael Ball and that Alfie Boe.

nancy75 · 28/10/2017 21:44

Seriously, other than his Nan, who would buy a fat Aled record?

MusicToMyEars800 · 28/10/2017 21:45

dillite Grin You'd think they'd have enough money to pay cleaners.

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 28/10/2017 21:45

Michael Bolton is watching his back, I guess.

InigoTaran · 28/10/2017 21:45

I went to see the tour many years ago when that dustbin guy was on it. It was great! Blush

Annabelle4 · 28/10/2017 21:45

This has to be the worst series yet.

dillite · 28/10/2017 21:45

It's like a b-side record from some shitty Disney movie

Piggywaspushed · 28/10/2017 21:45

If those Lloyd Webber progs were still on, he'd get to -what?- week three?

tigerdriverII · 28/10/2017 21:45

Cringe cringe cringe

NoisyBrain · 28/10/2017 21:46

Inigo Andy Abrahams? Those were the days...

Roussette · 28/10/2017 21:46

I remember dustbin guy! Saying that makes me realise how disposable they all are. It's just TV pap

Butterymuffin · 28/10/2017 21:46

I also reckon Bear could well be a fake name for show. A few years on we'll find Chezza went to register him alone and he's actually called William or James.

MusicToMyEars800 · 28/10/2017 21:46

Piggy That's what he needs to be on Grin I'd do anything it was called wasn't it?

Piggywaspushed · 28/10/2017 21:47

the dustbin man was called Terry Winstanley. Embarrassed to know that.

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs · 28/10/2017 21:47

Aw, he seems like a nice enough wee bloke though.

dillite · 28/10/2017 21:47

music why pay cleaners when you can have your mum clean your house and look after your child whilst you make sure you are camera ready and do whatever the fuck it is you do when you don't have a job to go to? Wonder whether it was Chezza that started that 24/7 live in robot nanny thread?

InigoTaran · 28/10/2017 21:47

Yes Andy Abrahams, I even bought his cd....

MusicToMyEars800 · 28/10/2017 21:48

Annabelle yep, you're not wrong there!

The80sweregreat · 28/10/2017 21:48

The bin man did Eurovision. He was a good singer.

dillite · 28/10/2017 21:48

I thought that the dustbin man was Andy Abraham? Who's Terry?

Roussette · 28/10/2017 21:49

Are they voting out tonight? Confused

Piggywaspushed · 28/10/2017 21:49

I'd Do Anything was the search for Nancy... not sure he'd be on that..

The Lee Mead one was called Any dream Will Do.

Fat Aled is no Lee Mead.

nancy75 · 28/10/2017 21:49

So what’s going on now? I zoned out there - they’ve finished but we’ve got another half an hour?

JaneJeffer · 28/10/2017 21:49

I remember Kate Thorton telling Andy he wasn't rubbish when he got voted off Grin

BitOfFun · 28/10/2017 21:49

BORING
