Onwards from the costumes of Film Week to the even more costumes and hair and make-up and contact lenses of Hallowe'en... Hopefully this thread will a have a couple of nice tasteful weeks, but we'll see Grin

I know we've moved passed Alexandra's crying, but I'm still feeling guilty that I mentioned her dramatic face last week - I didn't actually know about her mum dying. I thought her crying this week was very genuine, hard ugly sobbing that she couldn't control.

Speaking of ringers, I'm still not over Caroline Flack - I still reckon Simon Webbe was robbed. He didn't seem to be all that popular and didn't come across as all that lovable, but he tried so hard and he really cared about it. -And is utterly beautiful-

Jay being too full of himself. He was a nervous wreck for the entire series. Now if you'd said that about Louis Smith, I'd have been right there agreeing with you.

I loved watching Louis dance. The dance he did with his partner on Halloween - the doctor/nurse one - was brilliant. Agree he's arrogant, though!

Simon webbe was robbed everytime I see caroline flacks face I urgh she is in a musical with Tom chambers I can't escape the advert the theatre keeps popping up on my facebook i got a newsletter through the post all with her face on it urgh

I was just thinking that Zoe Ball looking tired yesterday, then today I read that her dad Johnny is claiming that Aliona pretended her foot was fractured in 2012! Very odd thing to say after all this time. Aliona's not happy and taking legal advice.

Simon Webbe WAS robbed. Did he have health or personal problems? I remember thinking that he looked emotionally fragile in the final.

Craig said something lovely about him on ITT or maybe the main show preamble before the final –that Simon's journey had 'really touched my heart'. I thought that was a sweet thing to say – and very perceptive; Simon really did change and move and grow throughout the series.

Not that I was cyberstalking him or anything Rhiannon, but there were interviews with him at the time talking about how he had been drinking a bottle of brandy a day and contemplating suicide shortly before he was invited on the show.

oh dear, i dont watch GM Britain, so i missed that interview with Johnny Ball.
fancy saying that now and risking a law suit? you wouldnt be able to put that on - she would have had it x rayed and confirmed then.

I think thats a bit harsh re Alexandra. I didn't see her in x factor either as I only occasionally watch it, but her talent as an actress and naked ambition must be herculean for her to have thought ' Oh if I summon up tears over my mother who died a matter of weeks ago, I'll get some extra votes' on live telly. She didn't even need extra votes as she was top of the leaderboard.
