Onwards from the costumes of Film Week to the even more costumes and hair and make-up and contact lenses of Hallowe'en... Hopefully this thread will a have a couple of nice tasteful weeks, but we'll see Grin

I read that Brendan & Charlotte were friends before this series so maybe that's why he's saying it was his favourite one.

Ah well. At least she won’t have to combine training with 5am starts. That won’t have helped her get the training hours in. Some of the others don’t seem to have day jobs. Tiredness, fewer training hours and no history of dance will always disadvantage them.

I thought he was dreadful towards Shirley. He has never spoken to Len like that so he can bugger off as far as I am concerned. His dancing is nowhere near as good as the other pro males which is why I think Shirley dislikes him.

Sorry cowgirls but I disagree. Brendan is a superb dancer and he stands out in the pro dances. He's just getting on a a bit.

Interesting comment about Brendan's weird speach and it sounding as if he knows it’s his last series. It wouldn’t be particularly shocking if he decided to call it a day, hes married with kids and older now than he once was.

IF he is leaving though. I wonder if perhaps that’s why old Brendan made a re-appearance this year. He’s been so much better for years, but this year was moodier, sulkier, more self-absorbed, argumentative and arrogant. Perhaps he was more determined to try to make an impact and go out with a bang if he’s pulling out of the show?

But who knows. I liked Charlotte but she wasn’t good, Wood have FAR preferred it if Brian or Simon had gone but I’m not shedding any tears.

Brendan and Len had a huge ding dong and then didn't Brendan's dad die and Len apologised and they buried the hatchet, if I recall??

Right result even if not right DO combo. Yep Brenda did have a go at Len back in the day. Could be his last series. No-one is bigger than show and better and more popular pros have left imho!

Point of order = pretty sure Len had a go at Brendan rather than vice versa...Len came out of it badly. I may be biased as I never liked Len . He became very curmudgeonly. he was mean to Vincent and also Giovanni - anyone with a bit of chutzpah. And James Jordan but he deserved it

That's because if they are rubbish it reflects on him - and rightly so. Poor Charlotte had no natural ability and always struck me as being scared stiff of Brenda - Anton (or any of the others) would have got much more out of her. And Brenda also gave her routines which were well beyond her ability.

I've just posted this on telly addicts but it's really annoying me so hoping someone here might know!

As lots of us know the SCD results show is recorded on a Saturday night and then shown on Sunday night.

I know you can read the results on Digital Spy on a Saturday night, but how do they stop people in the audience posting the results on social media?
