My thoughts - FWIW. Bear in mind I am a completely untrained viewer who just loves watching.
Debbie - seemed a bit stilted. Generally she is good - especially viennese waltz - and obviously puts the work but for the life of me I can't warm to her. I think it might be because I really was not a Paul Daniels fan. Not fair I know.
Unlike others on here I love Aston and really enjoyed their routine.
Alijaz and Gemma - getting my hard hat out here. I LOVE Alijaz and he seems to lovely all the time on ITT and the VTs but over the last couple of years he has turned in to "look at me look how good I am" pro. Last night at the beginning of their dance I was thinking for god's sake let Gemma dace - if you rewatch he puts in all flashy bits for himself at the beginning. Would be understandable if he had a duff partner but Gemma is good.
Loved Alexandra's but not quite a 10 for me. Think her crying is a non issue - her mum died recently - she's upset. What's to dislike about that.
Loved Susan and Kevin - I know he hasn't been popular on here in the past but I think he is the most generous male pro to his partners - always tries to make them look good.
Not generally a fan but I felt for Karen - she was really trying to make Simon look good. You've got to admire that. Can you imagine if he had Aliona?
Ruth - lovely lady but overmarked.
The others were varying degrees of OK.
I predict Charlotte and Simon in the dance off - don't care who goes
