I got quite emotional last night about the scenes with Liam (Gatsby) and his mum at the football ground. My dad died 16 years ago and I still miss him.
I thought Bobby was funny, Gemma is not genuine. Lauren seems to think she is something really special. I just don't trust Jon, haven't read anything about him outside TOWIE but he just seems dodgy. We seem to be seeing a softer side to Tommy, he doesn't seem to be blowing up so much.I like Mario in it now, I think his friendship with Chloe S seems sweet.
I enjoyed Wednesdays episode.

Chloe Sims really thinks she’s the Mama of Essex and talking of being a great parent then would a great parent be on a reality show that’s about shagging, shagging and more shagging, that’s literally all Towie is about, Chloe’s daughter will be at high school now and I bet she gets criticised for her mum being a nobody on a show, let’s face it Chloe’s days are numbered on Towie, her & Popey are the most pointless people on it.

I think pete looks very strange around the eyes this season. Has he had work, they look odd!
Can't stand that Clelia and her constant gurning. I agree Georgia looks terrible, Yazz has had a LOT of work too. She looks unrecognisable now.

Clelia actually seems nice. When Georgia said "don't worry, we're all really nice" I can just imagine in 5 episodes time a massive bitchfest and fight between all the girls, like Chloe and Courtney and Megan had. Or when Yas called Georgia a piranha, chihuahua, witch, yappy dog......

Arg is looking proper tubby, isn't he! I do find his and Gemma's scenes hilarious though, probably because of how staged they are.

Clelia and Shelby aren’t Essex enough to be on the show and they’re clearly fame hungry with moving to Essex to be on a show, once Shelby & Pete have finished then what’s their role on the show going to be?

Clelia already fancies herself as a celebrity as there was a picture of her wearing Seema’s from RHOC Feel Unique dress, in Seemas Instagram, would Seema post a picture of a civilian in one of her dresses? I sincerely doubt it, it makes you wonder who got in touch with who, did Clelia call her up and say ‘I’m a tv star now therefore I can’t mingle with normal people anymore and I need to get in with the slebs, so can you dress me, take my picture and then stick picture up on your Instagram account’, I mean I just don’t get how they all seem to know each other, or do they have the same agents?! What a joke, having an agent because you look like a total fame hungry psycho moving up to Essex coz ‘it’s got a better vibe than Devon’, when really you were sleeping with a guy who just so happens to be in a show that’s filled with other nobodies who think they’re somebodies. What’s your book gonna be about Clelia?!

Arg isn’t destined to be slim, nor is Gemma, I wish they’d accept it and move on, some people are just meant to be fat and these 2 are proof of that.

I follow most of the cast on Twitter a LOAD of people commented when Georgia first had her nose done and she tried to shoot down the haters by saying ‘you can’t have an opinion of me if it’s bad’ basically. I think she is fully aware of what people think of her work. One tweet in particular compared her to Michael Jackson, that didn’t go down well with her....

Def think Gemma should just go down the donor route, like the woman on First Dates she was 6 months preg through a donor. It’s not like Gemma doesn’t have the money and she’s got a big support network.

Love Pete always have think he’s gorgeous and his tattoos are so sexy but don’t like Shelby and she actually really reminds me of Fran, Diag’s ex, looks wise.

I wish they'd make more of Diags, he's my absolute favourite and he's not in it nearly enough. He's too nice for TOWIE tbf.

I bet Georgia wouldn’t mind all the comments that were nice about her though, put yourself in a reality show and make shitloads of cash from doing fuck all and people will talk about you, or is she a shoe/swimming costume designer? People that studied Fashion at college must be pissed off with people like Tommy M who starred in a reality show and he’s now a show designer, not very fair, I bet it’s just his name that’s been put to it.

Yeah that annoys me too - they now all have their own clothes line off the back of being a "celeb", unlike all the many talented Fashion grads that end up working in New Look forever!

Exactly Yolo and it’s not fair at allon the Fashion grads at all, it’s the same with photography, Sam Faiers developed a fancy for photography and she actually shot a shoot for Fearne & her pictures made it to a magazine, for cash, and she actually said ‘oh all the photographers will be scared now’, meaning that now because a reality star has decided to be a photographer then the real photographers will be put out of business, not quite but again isn’t photography something you study seriously for & another 10 a penny reality star comes along and steals your job with absolutely no training, she has an iPhone with great filters and thinks because her camera produces good pictures then she’s got her new ‘career’, I think we should start a petition to stop reality stars getting freebies and ridiculous amounts of cash and walking into jobs where others study for years, all because they are game hungry twats who actually call themselves celebrities

Tbf to Clelia, she's been Instagram famous for ages and a model, she's promoting Seema's clothes by being seen in them, that's just how it works.
Same as any fame from a reality show can open doors and opportunities, it probably shows business acumen to make the most of them. We don't actually know what their education backgrounds are, from watching the show. People can do well in more than one road in life, they don't need to be mutually exclusive.

I've just stalked Clelia, she's very photogenic .. she looks much better as a still image than on the telly box.

That's filters for you! She's a perfectly attractive woman but no one looks like an Instagram 'model' in real life.

Instagram famous isn’t that famous because loads of people don’t have Instagram.

It may open a lot of doors but it’s still not fair that no studying is involved when they become designers etc, etc, and because of all the magazine interviews that they do then you do know their background and I’m 100% sure that Tommy M doesn’t have fashion in his, nor does Sam have photography in hers, and I bet Victoria Beckham didn’t study anything to be a fashion designer...I’m going to become a Neurosurgeon tomorrow

Without wanting to sound like my mother 'life isn't fair' and that's just the way it is. These people get these various fashion deals etc. because of their profile. It makes business sense for the companies they partner up with.

It only makes business sense because stupid people look up to these ‘celebrities’ and then want their clothes, people are silly.

I think Clelia is very plain, not for long though as her surgery will start soon.

Clelia & Shelby seem far too intelligent to be friends with the Towie lot, they are only interested in clothes & their physical appearance, Clelia seems the type to read books, I can’t ever see Amber T reading a book, except a beauty type book, can you?!

That's why I said Instagram famous, not famous, Scots. They have thousands of followers on Instagram and IG is a marketing tool.
And you can't tell from the look of someone, whether they read books or not!
I've noticed on many of these threads, you seem a fan like most of us are, then other times you get really wound up and end up sounding bitter. Maybe take a break from these shows for a while if they're making you angry.

I was actually quite impressed with Dan and the way he stood up to Aggressive John. I think most of the blokes are quite wary of him, understandably but Dan just kept going till he said what he wanted to.

I’m not exactly bitter and tbh I have only recently started watching Towie again and where’s the fun if we’re being nice all the time?! I hate forums/threads/posts that kiss the asses of famous people, and I didn’t say you could judge whether someone reads a book by looking at them, I said they don’t seem like the type to read books due to their personality, they are into themselves too much and their intelligence only seems to cover the basics and this is why I couldn’t see them reading books.

I really have only watched Towie the past few weeks because I have the ITV app on my phone and I was bored at the time, I don’t specifically acknowledge that it’s on tv if you know what I mean, I’m done with reality shows but our televisions are constantly full of them! The whole Housewives franchise is dead now and I can’t see the Cheshire one being on for much longer...they’re scrapping the barrel for storylines BIG time.

Tommy said on TOWIE years ago that he had collected trainers in their hundreds since childhood and then one day he wanted a particular design that he couldn’t find in any shops. So he sketched what he wanted and took it to be made, then ended up working in the business. To be fair some of his trainers are gorgeous. There’s a pair called Archway I’d love to own in pink or lilac. Not at £165 though and I’m probably too old anyway.

Maybe Tommy did do that but in all reality then if you or I had had the dream about the shoe and sketched it and took it to a shop then would we now be shoe designers?...No we bloody wouldn’t.

BlancheM yes I think I am bitter and it’s because I’m so pissed off with my own life atm tbh and yes maybe reality shows aren’t for me just now, their money & perfect looks get to me...sad I know.
