It seems Chesney had an infection in his scar that made him pass out. pity it wasn't fatal I couldn't believe poor Summer was just packed off to school when she was so upset over her dad's birthday. Surely Billy could have taken some time out of doing absolutely f all as usual and spent the day with her. She is living with two men she barely knows, going to a school where she has no friends, Billy and todd don't seem to be doing anything to help her settle or make friends. I know her grandma was awful but surely they would keep some sort of contact with the gps and maybe visit some of her old friends.

I so AGREE with the cellar story and Phelan. Complete rubbish.

I couldn't even be bothered watching it last night it's got so silly lately. Watched the last bit of second episode. Gary on a stretcher and Summer in hospital. And Andy in a cellar. What an unlucky street. The Phelan stuff has dragged on for far too long it's just got boring.

Think the directors getting bored with the storylines not a fan of these weird camera shots and rapid cuts not Corrie style

Amy and the twins are to blame too. Amy is really unpleasant. At least Simon was slightly kinder to Summer.

Does Billy ever bother with his job and his parishioners?

With regard to the grandparents......I know Grandma was disapproving , but Granddad was kind and I think Todd and Billy should have kept in touch and let Summer visit occasionally.

I also think that now Simon is older he should see his grandparents. I remember Simon's grandfather wanted to pay for a private education, and he and Peter fell out over it, but Simon is their dead daughter's child.

Does Owen keep in touch with Izzy? Perhaps he could pay for Jake's speech therapy, as Gary is spending all his Ukraine money on presents and foreign trips for Sarah and Bethany.

To be fair, no wonder the twins, Amy and Simon did that. They must be so bored! Where's all the mums taxis to this, that and the other club like a normal teenager would do? Do they do anything apart from go to school?
I know max and marias boy (can't remember name) do football but parents never seem to have to be involved

Who was simon's mum? I was watching a really old episode of Corrie on itv 3 today and there was a different peter and a woman who I assume was his girlfriend. Don't know what her name was. Kens daughter had turned 21 and was marrying mike Baldwin. And Sally was cheating on Kevin with terry duckworth! All before my time.

Simon's mum was Lucy, a florist. Peter was two-timing her, so she left and went to Australia. She died when Simon was about 4.

Yes before she was married to Kevin, when they were just dating. She danced with terry at Susan Barlow's 21st birthday party (which ken put on at great expense to try and out do mike Baldwin- mike then bought Susan a car to put ken back in his place ) and then then day after party she draped herself all over terry and pretended it was just a diary clash when terry asked her to meet him at dinner time when she was supposed to be seeing Kevin. Kevin sussed terry was up to something and quizzed Curly watts who is very stressed by the whole thing. Kevin then goes and tells terry to stay away from his girl and terry plays dumb and tells Kevin to have a chip. Which Kevin dutifully does.

Wasn't Izzy's sister Georgia May Foote, who was on Strictly a couple of years ago?

Yes, katie? she had a baby with Chesney, Joseph, who never gets mentioned at all now. I think she took Jawwziff to live with her dad wherever he is. Portugal?

Yes! That was her... Katie. I'd also forgotten about poor little Joseph. Looks like Chesney has forgotten too.

It's about to get a whole lot worse for Joseph, But hopefully what happens means dreary ches will sod off for a good bit too
