Fizz first please. And everyone related to her.

Actually he's going to have get Andy to start digging out an extension to fit them all in.

I was sure Phelan threw the bodies in the canal. The burning of the house - I presume - was to get rid of evidence of the kidnap etc?

JeanSeberg · 17/11/2017 23:07

Anna was looking more glamorous than usual tonight...

Wormulonian · 18/11/2017 10:26

Perhaps Phelan burnt the house just to get rid of any DNA evidence as both Vinny and Gandy were kept there. Still no explanation of how Phelan could afford the house or the eye watering insurance vacant building lots incur. When he arrived on the Street he was on his uppers and had no funds after Vinny ran off with the deposits.

Vinny and Gandy were shot at a vacant industrial warehouse type place and at least one body (Gandy?) thrown in the canal.

Gandy had no form for making wire sculptures so Luke would not recognise it. Not sure of its significance yet.

JeanSeberg I thought that too. Anna was wearing red lipstick throughout the episodes even though it was just and ordinary day.

scrabbler3 · 18/11/2017 12:34

Anna looked great with that red lipstick.

I guess that Andy's body will be found and someone (Luke/Gail/Bistro colleague) will recognise the item that Eileen took.

Does Vic Reeves' character really think that Norris is his father?

blackbunny · 18/11/2017 13:04

Think Pat will spot the wire thingy and "lose" it?

The other day I watched a 1987 episode on Youtube. In it there was a long scene involving Percy, Betty, Phyllis, Hilda and a few other pensioners. The story was that Percy was being his usual bossy boots self organising the others into dancing into couples. One person was left out with no partner. It sounds so boring and a similar scene wouldn't get made today but in that scene alone there were entertaining characters, humour and pathos - such a difference from the crap that's on now.

SergeantFredColon · 19/11/2017 20:05

I’ve given up current Corrie and am only watching classic Corrie now.

zukie Martin isn’t dead! He’s just in Sheffield Grin

SergeantFredColon · 19/11/2017 20:06

Has anyone else noticed how much more Northern everyone talked back then?

Yes! They say ‘by ‘eck as like’ every 2 minutes Grin

ChevalierTialys · 19/11/2017 20:13

@SergeantFredColon me too! I just can't get over the fact that at some point I'll get to watch the actual episode that my mum was watching when she went into labour with me. I'm genuinely excited about it 😂

Maybe there should be a separate thread for Classis Corrie? Although if there was I might abandon this one altogether.

SergeantFredColon · 19/11/2017 20:15

I think someone did start a classic Corrie thread last week. Hang on.

ChevalierTialys · 19/11/2017 20:23

This has made my day!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 19/11/2017 21:07

Oh - I'm just watching IACGMOOH and Fizz is already annoying me and all I've seen is a photo of her so far.

Oh I just wish sinead and Daniel would just get on with it. I hate her and ches together. It was always her and Daniel. Cant stand her but much prefer her with Daniel.

LoveMySituation · 20/11/2017 20:36

I'm so bored of the storylines atm I've actually not bothered to watch it. The Daniel /Sinead is the only bit I'm interested in. What are they doing?

BatteredBreadedOrSouthernFried · 20/11/2017 20:40

Sinead went for a drink with Beth And Izzy took Joseph to give her a break. Sinead got drunk and went off to find Izzy but was stumbling about and Daniel found her and offered her coffee at his. They started taking about the termination Sinead had. Daniel said he missed her and tried to kiss her, she stopped him and said she was engaged to ches and he was a good man etc. Then she left. But Tracey saw Daniel taking her off with him. So...... Grin

IHaveBrilloHair · 20/11/2017 20:56

There was a scene last week with Sinead and Ches where she said something about how how they are parents now.
Um, surely Ches has been a parent for 5 years?Confused

eddiemairswife · 20/11/2017 21:04

What struck me was how quickly Sinead got drunk to the extent that she was stumbling all over the street, but with a couple of cups of coffee she was completely sober.

Akire · 20/11/2017 21:44

Is Chez finally going to became the baddy hard ass guy?

BatteredBreadedOrSouthernFried · 20/11/2017 21:49

That would Be too funny! Grin

MyBeloved · 20/11/2017 22:55

Please no. Chez is not hard man material. At all.

Akire · 21/11/2017 04:26

AGREE no one gets from that drunk to sober without the passing out, throwing up, feeling like death stage. Not something get over in 2h!

As a Wheelchair user myself I’d never take a child that small out that I couldn’t trust. Never mind letting both of them run up n down the street! Different with Jake he’s learnt stay close and mum can’t run after them or cross roads. She seemed have no guilt at all.

Why are all woman swooning over Noris #2?? It’s gross was nearly sick

ChevalierTialys · 21/11/2017 06:18

This guy thinks Norris is his dad? They look the same age to me Hmm
