Fizz first please. And everyone related to her.

Actually he's going to have get Andy to start digging out an extension to fit them all in.

The scenes with Dev and G were cringe worthy and what was Sally wearing for the meeting. My fingers couldn't get to the ff button fast enough. Thank Goodness for watershed Grin

Wow Martin Platt is a kid in the old eps. I remember him going to the Rovers for his first legal pint and Bet (I think it was Bet) grimly pointing out that he'd been drinking in there previously, underage. I was about 13 at the time and thought that 18 was so grown up.

Redglitter · 21/10/2017 15:14

I love the old episodes that are on. I'm enjoying them far more than the current ones. Its just a totally different programme

AnneEyhtMeyer · 21/10/2017 16:05

I've just set the Sky planner to record the old episodes on ITV3. Got to be better than the current crap.

I've caught bits of the old episodes this week, and they seem so much more measured, and aimed at viewers who have a reasonable attention span.
In last night's we were in the police station, at the hospital, at Sally's soiree; we saw a violent attack, a baby abduction(sort of), a diagnosis of post-natal depression, a cringe-making sexual encounter.
That's enough material for a six-part drama series.

honeyroar · 21/10/2017 17:45

Oh god, don't bring Martin Platt back. His heads only just deflated. He lives near us and tried to get a local footpath past his house moved in case fans/paps used it too much (à la Madonna!). Err, no people use it because it's a nice walk, not because you live there!

MusicToMyEars800 · 21/10/2017 19:10

I missed the last 15 mins of the last episode, am I right in thinking, that it was mary giving George the banana that cause him to get ill?
That's what I was thinking the second he was rushed to hospital.

Redglitter · 21/10/2017 19:13

Oh god, don't bring Martin Platt back

I don't think that's ever been in the plans. He's only been mentioned because he's in the old episodes showing at the moment

honeyroar · 21/10/2017 19:39

Yes I know!

mrssunshinexxx · 22/10/2017 13:09

Simon Barlow 😤😤😤😤😤😤

SmileSunshine · 22/10/2017 13:55

George had a viral infection. I don't think it was the banana caused it. It's part of the Post natal depression story for Mary's DIL

theliverpoolone · 22/10/2017 15:10

Although Mary's been behaving so out of character from how she normally is now, I seem to recall years ago her kidnapping Norris and threatening him all Misery-style, so she does have a bit of an obsessive darker side.

MyBeloved · 22/10/2017 15:30

I remember that, Liverpool. Perhaps that side is going to be revisited now she has found her son and his family?

IHaveBrilloHair · 22/10/2017 15:41

Sinead's jumper looked like a page from a colouring book.

SmileSunshine · 22/10/2017 20:06

I quite like Mary's character. I hope they don't mess with her too much.

Akire · 22/10/2017 22:27

I thought that too about banana she made clear didn’t want to wean yet Mary did it! My first thought was allergies

mapie · 23/10/2017 19:50

So Steve's on a dating site. I must have missed the episode where he broke up with Leanne, what happened to their engagement?

Sillysausage123 · 23/10/2017 20:50

Good point I've missed that about Leanne too!

NoCryLilSoftSoft · 23/10/2017 20:52

What the hell was that noddy head social worker all about?? Confused

lizzieoak · 23/10/2017 21:49

Steve and Leanne realized they weren’t attracted at all (just that once) so they knocked it on the head. Which is kind of a shame as I thought they interacted well, kind of sparked off each other, and Steve has a history of choosing strong women.

mapie · 23/10/2017 21:52

That social worker looked like she needed a social worker.

Did Faye ring social services?

mapie · 23/10/2017 21:53

Thanks lizzie.

NoCryLilSoftSoft · 23/10/2017 22:18

Faye didn’t even know the family situation until she arrived to find overdosed Mum. I reckon it was Tim or sally.

LoveMySituation · 23/10/2017 23:46

I thought Anna and Kevin were talking about it before Faye came in, so wasn't it Kevin?

Akire · 23/10/2017 23:53

IT WAS confusing. I thought social Worker was there to remove children and get her medical attention. Then they just left her.

Has Phelon given up on what’s his face? This rate he have three of them down there.
