goodness, this could be interesting - samba dressed as wonder woman ...

Summerswallow · 07/10/2017 19:58

My love for Oti hasn't diminished- unfortunately that routine would have been amazing with Danny, it wasn't really with Jonnie although it was ok.

My point about Debbie is she's hardly working as a dancer as her profession, on stage all the time, age-wise she's not Molly or Aston in that regard. If she did train in ballet- it was many years ago and she has a lot to learn in terms of new types of dances and also her stamina because 58 isn't 28 on that score, even if she's fit. I think she's improved already and that's what I'm enjoying about her- she's giving her all and still got room to get better, I don't feel she's a 'ringer' in the traditional sense that Danny was (even though I loved him and Oti to watch).

bookbook · 07/10/2017 20:00

well, actually really enjoyed that!

ScaryMonstersAndSuoerCreeps · 07/10/2017 20:00

Sorry not feeling the Susan love.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 07/10/2017 20:00

Terrible samba no hip action but I loved it Grin

GrouchyKiwi · 07/10/2017 20:01

Susan has done the impossible and made me like Kevin so I think she is Wonder Woman after all.

Love how they threw shade at Oti & Danny's red band tango from last year.

Petalflowers · 07/10/2017 20:01

My favourite dance of the night

TossDaily · 07/10/2017 20:01

There's a childlike glee in the way she dances that's infectious.

GorgeousLadyOfWrangling · 07/10/2017 20:01

Glitterball 6 Love Her

You've explained that really well. Its how Ive felt about her from the beginning.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/10/2017 20:02

I wonder if it's harder dancing on one blade that it would be on two (different amounts of "spring" - I dunno). Not suggesting he has anything done - just wondering.

I think Bruno's getting wilder and wilder, too, Toss. I think a straightjacket would be appropriate.

I do like Susan Calman, but Ginger Rogers she ain't. Nice to see Craig smile.

bookbook · 07/10/2017 20:02

she is diametrically opposite to Charlotte - she is so obviously enjoying it

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/10/2017 20:02

I can’t like Kevin even after that gender reverse floor spin. I begrudging respect him for that joke though!

OP posts:
HyacinthBooquet · 07/10/2017 20:02

That was awful.

digerd · 07/10/2017 20:02

Oh, dear. Not Susan's dance and the bounce just did not exist.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 07/10/2017 20:03

Agreed bookbook

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/10/2017 20:03

She really is, isn't she bookbook - can't help but lover her!

Hepzibar · 07/10/2017 20:03

I'm starting to think ITV has taken over Strictly, it's all a bit cheap and tacky this week. Wigs hideous, costumes garish,

Imsorrynow · 07/10/2017 20:04

You've got to love Susan's enthusiasm 😊

CalmanOnSpeeddial · 07/10/2017 20:04

I thought she gave it a bloody good stab. Certainly a much better approximation of a samba than Richard’s Paso.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 07/10/2017 20:04

I know nothing about dancing but I always think samba looks difficult.

MsInterpret · 07/10/2017 20:05

Agree, Susan and KFG partnership is giving me renewed respect for Kevin's skillz. Loved that Wonder Woman routine. Fun fun fun.

Petalflowers · 07/10/2017 20:06

Nothing has wowed me tonight. They all seem a bit mediocre and lack lustre.

ilovesooty · 07/10/2017 20:06

I think Susan has made Kevin bearable as well.

scrabbler3 · 07/10/2017 20:06

I think genmnas been my favourite so far. Admired Brian's commitment and improvement.
