Watched last night's episode again twice today (first time was when I was ironing so please don't think I sit in front of the TV all day!) I was so caught up in it all last night that I couldn't sleep which is so unlike me as I can usually sleep on a clothes line! Do we think this episode was all the better for having a different script writer? It was so much more like the best bits of series 1. Not sure whether it was LP or BA who said the scenes could only be filmed the once so it was a "now or never" situation.
I suppose like everyone on here, I've never been so heavily invested in a television series (or individual characters!) before and last night's episode was definitely on a par, if not better than, episode 4 of the first series. I remember saying in one of the first threads on here that if I'd spent as much time on some of my A level set texts all those years ago as I have done with OG, I may have managed a better grade in my Literature exam!
Can anyone answer a couple of questions for me which I' not sure about. I know this is NOT a documentary but when Georgie is on Skype to her Mum, would she be allowed to reveal where she was, given the high security surrounding the mission if this were for real. Secondly, when Azizzi got shot by the guy on the motorbike, was that intended or was the bullet meant for CJ? Also, and this is rather trivial, but when the guys are washing (and Elvis is very kindly and gratuitously topless for us), how yucky is it that Rab ends up having to wash in Elvis's dirty water!
I'd best stop there for tonight I think.
