For those who may, aherm, 'know' what happens during the episode prior to its official airing.

Spoilers Galore read at your peril!

Let's try to avoid 'leaks' for episodes 5 onwards.

@CaptainWarbeck yes please Grin

Do you have to sign up to anything to watch it?

tissuesosoft · 05/08/2017 11:30

Hi, would someone be able to send me a link please?

Funko · 05/08/2017 11:42

Links sent

CaptainWarbeck · 05/08/2017 12:07

Nope wobble it's just click play and stream. Pm'd the link.

sproutish · 05/08/2017 12:26

Ooooo could anyone send me a functioning link please?!
I was thinking of Arya wearing Jaimes face being the one to kill Cersei, but now she's gone home I think the real Jaime will have to do it?! One of her brothers has to do it, and I think it has to be Jaime as Tyrion is the one she's always been suspicious of.
Agree that I'm liking Danny less and less with every episode. She was an utter turd to Jon Snow initially last week! Perhaps Jaime will be taken hostage again by Targaryen forces this time and could switch sides? At this point who knows?!? I spend half my life dreaming up ridiculous theories that will enable it to end the way I want it to Grin

Notyetthere · 05/08/2017 12:47

Funko thank you. Just watched it. Oh my that was good!

Wobblebeans · 05/08/2017 12:53

Wow, thank you to those who sent links, that was epic Shock

I was surprised by the cave drawings under Dragonstone

Little finger is on borrowed time, wasn't Arya there when he was plotting with Tywin Lannister?

I'll still be watching when it officially airs Grin

AryaUnderfoot · 05/08/2017 13:47

Elena Bran is the only one who has visions related to anyone other than... Bran.

Jon and Arya are both able to warg into their wolves and Arya skin changes into the cat in Braavos. Jon talks to Bran in his dream.

Sansa just..... remembers events that haven't happened. Whether that is a literary device, a sign of her skin changing/being batshit crazy or just GRRM forgetting what he wrote remains to be seen.

Did anyone else draw a bit of a comparison (and I might be reaching with this one) between Bronn and Richard III? When the dothraki maimed his poor horse, he spilt all his gold and had to make a dash for it - My horse, my horse, my kingdom for a horse!

WeDoNotSow · 05/08/2017 14:45

Was I I'm the only one a bit gutted when they realised dragons had been hit in the shoulder/wing.
For some reason, although I hate the Lannisters, I wanted it to go straight down its throat.

WeDoNotSow · 05/08/2017 14:45

*Drogon. Not dragons. Although he is a dragon. Whatevs.

AryaUnderfoot · 05/08/2017 15:56

WeDoNotSow no, you are not the only one.

Whilst I am sure dragon fire is very useful against white walkers, my hope is that they are all dead by the end of the Long NIght.

Direwolves, on the other hand, make very good pets (despite what King Robert said).

For the first time I wasn't cheering for Dany. I wanted Jaime and Bronn to win despite everything.

I just love how GoT leaves you questioning who is the good guy.

Out of the three obvious contenders for the throne I only support Jon now. Soon he will be with Dany - it was great when Jon said to Davos (when Davos commented on Jon's attraction to Dany) that he hasn't got time for all that.

AryaUnderfoot · 05/08/2017 16:02

I just love how GoT leaves you questioning who is the good guy.

One of my favourite GRRM quotes is that 'the villain of one story is the hero to the other side'. There are lots of conspiracy theories along the lines that the white walkers may be the 'good guys' but that's missing the point somewhat.

Someone on Westeos.org raised a point recently that if Dany turns into megalomaniac mad-queen as it is looking like at the moment, all those parents are going to regret naming their babies 'Khaleesi'.

I found the episode by accident and watched and I'm a bit gutted I have nothing to look forward to on Monday Hmm

My thoughts:
I'm so happy the remaining Stark children are back together, bit miffed at Bran, loved Arya's training with the tall blonde woman

Annoyed about the bending the knee nonsense between Jon and Dany. Just get on with it FFS the white walkers are coming.

Oh how I've missed the comedy of Bronn!

Brilliant fight scene at the end, I'm shocked that I wanted the dragon to die Shock

Only 3 episodes left!

Peabrain14 · 05/08/2017 16:11

Just found this thread. The episode was so good!!!

Surely Jaime has to survive as I'm sure he's going to kill C.

If LF is so clever why has he not fled from Winterfell, surely he realises the game is up.

Middleoftheroad · 05/08/2017 16:21

That's a great quote Arya
Peabrain do you think LF still thinks he has a chance with Sansa maybe? When he told Bran something along the lines of 'that he'd have taken the knife instead of Cat' or something like that I rolled my eyes. He's such a sleaze but I do love to hate him.

Who's left on Arya's list? The Hound? Ned's executioner (though I read on these threads he had been seriously ill in real life). The Mountain? Lost track.

Sansa was interested in Cersei again. I think she wants to take down Cersei herself now.

Peabrain14 · 05/08/2017 16:32

Maybe Middle, although she's losing patience with him rapidly. What do you think the look Sansa was giving when Ayra & B were fighting meant? I couldn't work it out.

I'm hoping A doesn't kill the hound, will she be persuaded not too as didn't he save Sansa?

How does one kill the Mountain?

AryaUnderfoot · 05/08/2017 16:35

Who's left on Arya's list?

In the show there's Cersei, The Mountain, Thoros of Myr, Beric Dondarian and 'the red woman' (Melissandre). The Hound was taken off her list and Ilyn Payne was written out of the series when the actor was diagnosed with terminal cancer (which he was successfully treated for).

All others are dead or book-only.

Middleoftheroad · 05/08/2017 16:42

Thanks Arya
Peabrain I think Sansa realised Arya was more competent than she realised. Or did she despair/envy Arya being up to her old fighting tricks again?

Just Googled episode 5 and came across this older post. Some bits seem plausible. POSSIBLE SPOILERS but would like to know what others think? Please don't read or send me to Coventry if you don't read SPOILERS

Middleoftheroad · 05/08/2017 16:46

Sorry, would like to know if you think any of tge synopsis could be true without giving too much away?

Peabrain14 · 05/08/2017 16:55

I'm wasn't sure if she was wary of her or wistful that she's had to grow up so quick.

Peabrain14 · 05/08/2017 16:56

I think Gilly does find/read something.

AryaUnderfoot · 05/08/2017 16:59

Some of it doesn't match the leaks I've read, which have all been pretty much spot on up to now. They can be found here (episode by episode).

Only click if you don't mind utter spoilers!

Don't know why Dany is faffing with "bend the knee" anyway when she could easily marry him and bring the north back into the seven kingdoms without them having to lose their king.
Surely her advisors must know that marriage is the easiest way to get these things! They knew it in Mereen when she married whats-his-face
