I've said for ages Faye and Seb are incredibly alike. Odd casting.

Loyal viewer here over the last 40 years but I think the once very high quality production values are slipping rather. Is it just me or does it sometimes feel a bit like Acorn Antiques when the scene changes and the actors are stock still for that first second before action. It's quite creepy actually.

Also glad I'm not the only one confused about Phelan's eye. I've often had the feeling lately that I must have missed an episode (which I never do). Things don't flow the way they used to.

I was confused about Phelan's eye too and I agree with others about Seb and Faye. I only recently started watching again, I took a break as it had become so awful but it's still bad. Had to Fast forward through all the Phelan memory lane stuff. Phelan was being so violent to Seb and the probation officer clearly saw it. I think it looks like Phelan is going to be around for quite some time.

Seb and Faye- how can they kiss each other when they have the same face?! Be like snogging yourself!. Terrible casting.

Just came on to see whether you good people knew what happened to Phelan's eye, but I see everyone else is as confused. I thought the digibox had missed an episode. Weird

Perhaps Corrie is going to be radical and do a "flashback" scene to explain Phelan's eye.

Oh FFS - I can't stand Phelan and now I can't stand this long lost daughter story line - she's equally annoying. Are they trying to do the usual and gloss over what he has done and try and make him likeable - I will have to pause at the start of Corrie so I can fast forward his and her scenes

No there wasn't an episode on Weds, that's why there were 2 tonight. I thought nothing much happened tonight (other than the Phelan plot, which bores me).

The 'daughter' hasn't been in Corrie long enough for anyone to care who her parents were.

I dont know why it jumped out at me but the daughters Jewish going by the names on the bench. Although that makes not abit of difference but a nice touch by corrie i thought. A nod to the old Jewusg community in Liverpool. I woukd hate him to be my father. Poor lass.

Anyone else hoping Chesney doesn't make it? I can't be doing with more of him and Sinead back together again. Talking of Sinead, she put on a bit of a sprint down the Street tonight for someone who couldn't walk not so long ago

I wouldn't miss Chesney if he goes, he was great as a cute child actor but not so great as an adult one. I'm very surprised Sinead made it to freshcos and back and did a good bit of shopping before the ambulance made it to the bistro, I thought freshcos was a bus ride away.

The factory is practically beside the bistro and no one thought to go get Fiz.

The drug dealer said something to Rob about Catherine/Caroline, so my guess is she died from drugs Rob gave her and he doesn't want the police to know, so unless Chesney survives and can say who did it it will drag on and on and on

They seriously need to lay of the murders, stabbings, blowing things up and dramatic crashes and get back to a bit of humour and old fashioned neighbour rivalry.

I agree ellenanora . They need a decent cull of actors - would anyone notice if Chesney left? Sean has barely been seen for months. How will Sinead continue to live with auntie Beth if she splits from Chesney? The Cathy and Brian "humour" is not working - I always hated Brian was so disappointed to see him return. They brought in "Kim Tate" as Liz's best mate and then kind of dropped that and haven't really used her properly.

The Phelan storyline is totally, totally unbelievable - what are the chances? No interest.

Agree, Corrie's just got really stupid lately.

Bethany and Eva/ Maria storylines are good, but you don't see that much of them!
