Audrey is the only one who has maintained a nice house away from the Street.

Rita is minted and lives in a poky flat above the Kabin.

Freddie lodging in Fizz's cramped house makes no sense. Where are all his possessions from the big house he lived in. When Kylie went to visit it was packed to the rafters. It's a shame he doesn't have any decent storylines. As somone said on another thread they missed a trick in not casting him as Luke's grandad.

So much for my theory that Peter was going to get drunk and accidentally knock Toyah down the stairs to lose her baby. Seems like they are setting it up for Peter and Leanne to get back together?

Freddie has left hasn't he? Cos kevin had to fire him from the garage? I vaguely remember a leaking party that he didn't go to.

Apart from the Robert and Michelle sequences, I thought tonight's episodes were the best for a long time.

I wouldn't have put Amy and Summer as the same school year - Summer looks a lot younger.

Amy was 13 in February. They said Summer was 12, nearly 13, so if her birthday is before 1st Sept they would be in the same year. But I agree Summer looks a lot younger.

I think Leanne will act as a surrogate for Toyah and Peter.

CoolCarrie I was thinking the exact same when Rawsie was in the Bistro saying how she'd do anything for Sawphie. You could see Toyah's mind ticking over with the idea.

Doesn't Leanne have fertility issues too though? Although they'll forget about those if it's convenient. They've already done surrogacy storyline recently yawn

YY , I reckon Leanne will carry Toyahs baby.
The embryoes are already waiting (so she doesn't have to concieve she needs to gestate)
Toyah and Leanne aren't blood related .
Toyahs Mum (Janice) married Leannes Dad (Les) and Leanne/Eva have the same Mum ( Stella ) so IIRC they are half sisters?

Plus it gives Leanne a good reason to stay in the Rovers and get back with Peter (by Christmas)

Are people surmising about the surrogacy, or do they know? If so, it's very lazy thinking from the writers; just over 4 years since the last surrogate(Jake).

What are they doing to Rosie's character? She's becoming more and more unbelievable. She's a caricature, has no substance and brings nothing to the programme.

Thought the same about Rosie. She wasn't stupid when she was in it before, just a bit shallow and selfish.

I wondered about surrogacy too. How weird would it be for leanne to carry Peter's baby? He was the love of her life at one time. I think rosie is just comic relief really.

I also thought Leanne had fertility problems, brought to light after she fell down the stairs and lost Peter's (!) baby? Didn't she tell Steve when she was pg that she was keeping the baby as it was some kind of miracle. Based on this you'd think she'd have some words of encouragement/experience for Toyah but that's all forgotten now. So if she stood as a surrogate the baby would be Simon's half-sibling and cousin

I'm all for a bit of comic relief dead ringer, I just don't think it's very well done!

Much prefer the likes of Sally and Tim or Mary and Norris.

They've basically turned Rosie into Helen Flanagan. I was looking at pictures earlier of when she was at the private school, and a goth, and remember her being a lot more savvy, and very manipulative.

But then we all saw how stupid she was in the Jungle, and the writers have transplanted that personality.

Toyah has a lovely figure. They wouldnt have a hope adopting would they? Who was the surrogate for Jake?

As if Summer will fit in at Bessie Street shes way ahead of them all please god she achieves something with her life.

Tina was the surrogate for Gary and Izzy. She then wanted to keep the baby and they'd a big row
