Brrr Gave me chills. On last night but possibly a repeat, Found that Scottish guy John really really disturbing. In fact it me an actual nightmare.
It was the combination of being gross in so many ways and then being confident enough to be actually really rude to the point of nasty to his date. He date seemed a lovely chap too.
Loved the young travelling couple. So much cuter than anything on Live Island.

They'll give Greig another date. They had one gay male couple, but the one guy had fathered a child, and he only wanted to date a gay man with children. Eh? Must not have mentioned it at interviews and his poor date, who was lovely, was so upset! He asked for, and got, another date.

I watched an episode of the US one on E4. It was terrible. None of the warmth of the UK or Irish versions. Some right weirdos on it

I watched this last night. I didn't know what to think about the dominatrix woman. She seemed lovely and fantastic for her for getting herself out of that financial mess, but when it comes to going on a date with someone I wondered how many men would want to date someone who was in that area of work. I wouldn't want to go out with a guy who did that.

And why do these couples who get on so well never end up seeing each other again?

I loved the man and Scottish Jen they were amazing i really wanted to see that they had moved in together or something at the end

I know I was disappointed! Sounded like they lived / worked near each other. First Dates need to give better explanations

The Dominatrix was a lovely woman, but I agree with PP that it would take an open-minded, relaxed partner to accept that kind of work. Her date was repulsive. All sleazy and suggestive when he thought he might get some dominatrix action, and then unbelievably rude as soon as she rejected him.
'How long will it take you to get home?'
'Too long, I've already wasted too much time on this'.

I do agree she'd need someone open minded really.

And yes I was confused about Jen and her date and why they didn't meet up..

I think a lot of people on this episode are telling porkies about their age or else they've had a hard life
