Thought I'd better start a new one since the old one filled up!!

Choccy I don't know, but I'd assume a DNR can only be enforced if it is in writing and the patient has had appropriate counselling etc prior to signing it to be fully aware of what they are signing so to speak....

Optimist1 · 15/06/2017 21:09

I think Mo explained that the resuscitating she did was part of the operation package that he'd agreed to and not covered by the DNR. Not sure how accurate that is, though. And I have no idea whether Mo is staing or going!

Interview suggest she's gone

spiderlight · 16/06/2017 14:47

Had a look at the actress's twitter and she's definitely going - posts about filming her last ever scene. I'll miss her - I loved Mo.

Cary2012 · 16/06/2017 17:35

I shall miss Mo too.

It always amazes me how the staff at Holby, including those in Casualty can just leave at the end of a shift. They don't give notice like us normal people do, they just, well, leave!

Has Mr T gone as well? Just driven off with Mo in the cake car with cutir Hector, he probably hadn't finished his shift, probably in the middle of delivering twins (again) to a pre-eclamptic mum (again), won't miss him.

Bring back cuddly Elliot!

And there's deffo chemistry brewing between Lofty and Dom...

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 16/06/2017 17:41

I get a bit baffled by the lack of connection between one episode and the next.

Before this week's episode, last time we saw Dom he was sobbing in Sacha's arms, heartbroken about Arthur and addicted to steroids.

But now he seems just - fine? And mates with Lofty? And no longer on steroids?

Sacha should market himself as a one-man rehab centre...

ChoccyJules · 17/06/2017 16:14

I agree it's becoming very disjointed. I haven't looked but am wondering if there are too many writers taking turns or something.

Optimist1 · 17/06/2017 18:00

Yes, Choccy; it's a bit like that game we used to played called Consequences - write a bit, fold the paper over, pass to the next person to write the next bit, etc etc!

DubiousCredentials · 18/06/2017 22:43

I thought I'd missed an episode due to a) Mo leaving and b) Dom's recovery 🤔

ChoccyJules · 19/06/2017 19:59

Consequences is exactly what it's like. It's a shame.

GetHappy · 20/06/2017 20:19

Not really sure what to make of this new doctor.....

frazzled3ds · 20/06/2017 21:11

Well that didn't turn out as I expected! Crikey...... poor Jasmine :(

UnicornSparkles1 · 20/06/2017 21:14

Hurrah, fellow Holby fans! How have I only just found you?!

Poor Jasmine, I'd only just started to like her.

frazzled3ds · 20/06/2017 21:18

Hello Unicorn! Yes, Jasmine had just started to redeem herself after a run of disastrous stuff..... it'll be interesting to see what happens with Jac and Fran going on from this....

Hoping something good comes from the fledging romance between Dom and Lofty (at least that's what I think it is!)

UnicornSparkles1 · 20/06/2017 21:21

Hello Smile

Lofty annoyed me when he first appeared but he and Dom are quite sweet together now. I hope it lasts!

SweetestThing · 20/06/2017 21:36

Surely Jac will see the message that loopfruit Fran sent from her (Jac's) phone and it will start her wondering.

Poor Jasmine. I quite liked her from the start.

Pollydonia · 20/06/2017 21:37

Bye Jasmine. Tough on Morven though Sad

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 20/06/2017 21:37

OH MY GOD HOLBY WHAT THE FUCK?!

SoupDragon · 20/06/2017 21:39

They killed Jasmine??? Shock

I expected Doctor Damon to collapse and die after the physical exertion of carrying her!

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 20/06/2017 21:41

And Hanssen - the king of my heart - looked like he had a wobbly lip over it too.

LarrytheCucumber · 20/06/2017 21:44

Dom hasn't completely recovered. He said he'd just been to therapy.

BubbleBed · 20/06/2017 22:07

I sobbed! :-(

Optimist1 · 20/06/2017 22:11

Shocking! I was worried that they'd think that Damon had attacked her, but thankfully the plot didn't take that particular twist. As Pollydonia says, poor Morven - it's only a year since she lost Arthur. Sad

OP posts:
AGnu · 20/06/2017 22:16

I sobbed. I liked Jasmine! Genuine actual sobs & tears. Not sure I've ever cried at TV like that before! I blame the heat & the baby hormones!

GetHappy · 20/06/2017 22:16

I really wasn't expecting that! How will Jac react? Will this change her?

I agree Poor Morven, I really didn't see this one coming
