I thought Jaq was off with Elliot too, otherwise what was the point of the letter? Someone is off to Pakistan anyway otherwise what was the point of the closeup of Elliot's handwriting on the envelope?

Essie is odd with Parker I agree, although I think they did have a close relationship when he first went to live with her when his mother was just ill rather than in prison.

Wasn't Morven going off with Bernie's son to the Galapagos to save turtles or some such other worthy conservation thing? What happened there? I can't remember what went wrong now.

Have you seen that the cast of Holby City and Casualty are in the top drama earners at the BBC?

I don't follow Casualty, but the writers at Holby need to step up a bit to justify those salaries being paid...

Nice to see a bit of happiness of sorts for Dom tonight with his mum. Still reckon there's something brewing with Lofty though. Can't help feeling there will be a sting in the Rossini story at some point.

I feel like we should make a Holby bingo card. One square on it could be "I can't possibly have this urgent, life saving operation right now because you have no idea how important my job is" and another could be a random visitor to the hospital collapsing with something serious as they're about to leave (although that hasn't happened for a few weeks - must be due any time now).

Another square would be a member of staff abandoning their duties to attend to personal business, Profile .

Another square for HH doing that little smile he has - he was quite good last night :)

And a square for a random patient being wheeled in and instantly picking up on the romantic vibes between two members of staff, making some poignant observation and setting the wheels of true love in motion.

And one for a child explaining to an adult how best to deal with a moral dilemma or romantic tangle.

I have fallen behind again, must catch up on last week and this week. Am laughing re the bingo card true!

There has to be a bonus square for any staff member's death and a double bonus for a moider!

Loved how they've moved the relationship over the years on with Dom and his mum. And also liked that she'd picked up in Isaac, which we all knew. I hope he's not going to return after all this mentioning though?

Can't quite work out Lofty - seems almost a bit too 'sweet and sort of innocent'...

Lofty was like that all through his time on casualty so I can't see him changing.

I hate Selfie, he makes my skin crawl too.

I really don't understand why HH agreed for Guy to operate there.

I know they've achieved their goal here but I do somewhat despise Guy.
Also, why make Nina so ashamed of whatever went on, whatever it was she threatened to do? Matteo is so chilled (and loved up) he'd be OK if she fessed up, then Guy would have no hold on her. Argh. Soap characters. I want to shake them!

Also LOVED HH's vampire reference and the one about his scrubs. They are really cramming in the one-liners for him atm.

Guy really is quite a piece of work! Did feel a bit sorry for Bernie, wonder if she and Serena will reappear in the future?
