She started to listen to it, but then was so upset she dropped the phone and walked off. So no one found it? Even though there was police tape across the scene? If the phone is found and she's sees the text she can tell the police that Jasmine was lured to the CoD (Corridor of Doom).

BTW can anyone say if a sluice corridor is really a "thing"? Do all hospitals have one? Seems like a pretty dangerous place to me.

MommaGee · 05/07/2017 11:23

I think she knew what Jasmine's last line was going to be and couldn't bear it so dropped the phone. It'll be damaged beyond repair and she'll get Jasmine's things and eventually check it and turn it on - it went have a lock on it - and see the message. She'll start to put 1+1 together, possibly confide in Ms Death I mean Morven or it'll be parallel deduction. There will be a scene on the roof. Morven will argue and push her, Jac will see it but back up Morven about it being a jump or an accident. Morven will finally find someone who want die. So not the new F1 with the heart condition.

Howebout a total curve ball - Morven and Matteo???? Or Fletch

MissSueFlay · 05/07/2017 16:42

MommaGee Nailed it. Grin

Solo · 07/07/2017 22:23

Op, I thought that there would be a transfusion using the patients own blood too! I thin k the Sacha finds God thing was because of his conversation with Ric's grand daughter.
Morven and Fletch please! And not via Donna (Fletch that is) please!

SoupDragon · 08/07/2017 08:00

I thought they mentioned the "blood recycling machine" (which is called Hemosep according to google!) when Darla had the first operation. I didn't understand why it wasn't mentioned this time.

Morgen is too scatty for Matteo and not right for Fletch and his brood. FLetch needs a maternal type.

Solo · 08/07/2017 18:25

Ah! I didn't know that! Yes they did say "Hem" or something...

Optimist1 · 09/07/2017 05:17

So I can add Consultant Surgeon to my Detective Inspector qualifications? Wink

Certainly!

frazzled3ds · 11/07/2017 21:36

Oooh ....!

So, we've got Essie and Raf potentially getting something going again, Donna settling into the swing of life at Holby, and.....

Jac sussed Fran out!!!

I actually feel sorry for Jac, she's a stern faced, generally cold woman, but she's has some rough stuff thrown her way of late.

ChoccyJules · 11/07/2017 22:06

How is Donna so touchy-feely with Rik? They act like best buddies.

MommaGee · 11/07/2017 22:16

They used to be close, like father daughter relationshio

SoupDragon · 12/07/2017 01:08

I felt sorry for Fran this week. The way she was shrinking away from her abuser's touch as he was wheeled into Darwin and the look on her face... she is very clearly messed up and suffering because of her past. Obviously she is also kind of evil and a bit of a psycho but I did feel some sympathy for her at a few points during this episode.

MommaGee · 14/07/2017 00:01

I did but found the resolution a little anti climatic

SoupDragon · 14/07/2017 07:32

Yes. I did wonder if it's not actually the resolution though.

MommaGee · 14/07/2017 08:11

Yup someone needs to tell Morv ...

spiderlight · 14/07/2017 09:33

Oh God. I dreamed I was shagging Sascha last night. He wasn't that good - he kept his flowery shirt on and kept doing that head-tilt and adoring puppy-dog smile.

SoupDragon · 14/07/2017 10:16

Hahahahahahaha :o

MyOtherProfile · 14/07/2017 12:34

Sacha is quite cringey. I guess we are supposed to assume he's all happy with the blind date woman he was set up with?

SoupDragon · 14/07/2017 13:27

I actually quite like Sascha. In a purely platonic way!

spiderlight · 14/07/2017 18:15

I guess so....and that he's miraculously recovered from his kleptomania Confused

Solo · 15/07/2017 23:28

(you know, breathes hard) Just caught up! I love Sacha!

OMG! Jac's face; the pain! I wanted to cry :( but unusually, I held it together.

frazzled3ds · 18/07/2017 21:49

Tonight's episode seemed a bit 'flat' after the last couple of weeks? Maybe I'm just tired...

Optimist1 · 18/07/2017 22:13

I thought there was a lot of dotting about between scenes tonight - from a tense moment in an operating theatre to a difficult diagnosis in AEU and on to another tense moment in Darwin - I was beginning to feel dizzy!

Glad that Jac is back at the helm where she should be - for a moment I thought she might be off to work with Elliot in Pakistan!

Does anyone else feel the same as I do about Essie's relationship with Parker? She's his foster mother but appears to be expecting a relationship with him that entirely ignores the fact that his birth mother is still alive. I could be misreading this, or mistaken about the expected role of a foster parent, but it doesn't sit comfortably with me.

AGnu · 19/07/2017 01:33

I'm predicting that Morven will be off to work with Elliot after a conversation with Jac where she admits that she can't stay at Holby after everything. Hopefully it won't be for another year though & she can befriend Donna in that time & she can get killed off too. She's only been back a few weeks & I'm sick of her already!

MyOtherProfile · 19/07/2017 07:05

Totally with you about Essie and Parker. She totally thinks she's his mum now. It's weird.
