Therese - wake up and open your eyes and arms to Paul!

Run, Paige, Run!! Mark only wants you for the contents of your womb!

What is with the creepy men at the minute? Finn, Mark, Jack & Gary make my skin crawl.

What did I get right?

Brooke was broke. How can she afford a plane ticket? She just got a fucking job! Idiot.

AprilLudgateDwyer · 28/05/2017 16:31

I thought Sheila paid for her ticket?

MiddleClassProblem · 28/05/2017 22:16

I've not seen it. How does Sheila have the money for it? I mean they were broke so went on a quiz show and won loads of money which Brooke ran off with so Gary did a dodgy job and then Sheila could suddenly remodel the kitchen and get a sofa and now buy plane tickets abroad. I must have missed something in the middle where they somehow got money again. Maybe I was Deestracted...

Fl0ellafunbags · 29/05/2017 12:28

Yesterday DH bought himself a new shirt. It's a Toadie shirt. He has always worn Toadie shirts and I suddenly realised that he isn't that dissimilar to the Toad and that I have a bit of a Toadie crush. I seem to have special taste in men.

MiddleClassProblem · 29/05/2017 15:14

Fl0ellafunbags I'm sure you're a much better Toadie wife than Sonya.

Catching up with Friday's now. Wh you did Toadie hear "we" and assume Steph rather than Sonya? If Sheila is paying flights then what has Xanthe's savings got to do with it?

MiddleClassProblem · 29/05/2017 15:46

Ok and now today's notes

Amy all me me me and Mishti is so annoying.

I'm glad that they brought up Sonya being a dick about surrogacy again. At the time I was worried everyone was going think it was perfectly reasonable.

Paige stroking the cum rug. Just the wiff sets off labour...

Paige stroking the cum rug. Just the wiff sets off labour
😅😅😅

Katz · 29/05/2017 17:56

my prediction on Paige's birth wasn't far off! although no bush fire or Mark

AprilLudgateDwyer · 29/05/2017 20:18

I knew Susan would be a bump toucher!

Leafs123 · 30/05/2017 07:35

Love a good bit of neighbours predictable story lines. I'm waiting for the finn situation to be over. Thank god he's not in the main credits!

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 30/05/2017 20:43

Good to see that in Neighbours tradition Paige managed to give birth with her pants on.

Shades of Daphne there.

MiddleClassProblem · 30/05/2017 21:03

Maybe they all wear crotchless 🙊🙈

I don't understand the really long promo mid week but nice to see there is light and shade

TheSecretMrsFairbrother · 30/05/2017 22:08

I know it's not real but why do women on TV always lose the ability to walk once they go into labour?

When I was in labour with DD1 I got a taxi to the hospital. Due to a pile up related tailback I ended up walking the last half mile.

Taxi driver was over the moon, he was worrying about how much valeting he'd need if I'd actually given birth in the back.

AprilLudgateDwyer · 30/05/2017 22:50

Also they always go into hard and fast contractions the seconds their waters break. With both of mine nothing happened for about 12 hours after the waters went.

olliegarchy99 · 31/05/2017 05:25

It can happen that waters break and immediate hard transactions - it happened to me. That said - baby was 4 weeks premature so the whole thing was a bit of a surprise and I was blue-lighted to the hospital and whisked straight into delivery - no 12 hour labours!
my question is - how far from the hospital is the shed - that no-one seems to be able to get there in time other than Dr Karl. Shock

LarrytheCucumber · 31/05/2017 06:28

ThesecretmrsfairbrotherGrin just what I was thinking.

LarrytheCucumber · 31/05/2017 06:29

About giving birth with her knickers on, I mean.

AprilLudgateDwyer · 31/05/2017 07:31

@olligarchy99 wow that sounds scary!

I Know it does happen but on TV it happens every single time! Haha

woodhill · 31/05/2017 08:42

Why were they in this outback to start with? Missed Monday's.

AprilLudgateDwyer · 31/05/2017 09:05

Paige wanted to go back to the shack for closure because the area was being cleared for Housing.

Fl0ellafunbags · 31/05/2017 10:19

Due to a pile up related tailback I ended up walking the last half mile

The maternity unit in the hospital where DS was born is on the third floor. I don't do lifts so I waddled with the odd breather for contractions, to swear at DH and check that everyone realised it was my waters broken and I hadn't pissed myself up those three flights of stairs.

Clawdy · 31/05/2017 11:35

So Paige, Susan and Piper will all basically need to go to hospital?! That was a great idea for a day out.......

MiddleClassProblem · 31/05/2017 11:47

They never show the experience I had of two days of contractions before being close enough for hospital where I sat (epidural) for 12 hours before popping. You never see them pottering about with their contractions for a couple of eps. Also when ever they have drugs they always act really out of it.

Fl0ellafunbags · 31/05/2017 12:52

I went shoe shopping during labour, it was a 56 hour job, what else was I to do?

MiddleClassProblem · 31/05/2017 14:17

Today's notes

Great excuse to have Jack's shirt off but how was Paige holding on with her arm around his neck when she was unconscious?

Sadist.... 🤦🏽‍♀️

Finn keeping his cards close to his chest. How many of piper's pills did he take anyway? Surely she would notice if that many had been taken
