Feral, Another ace thread title
Update from previous one:
Well, events off-screen proved equally as exciting for us:
OPERATION BACKDOOR (see what I did there?) had to be deployed after all (made it to TV literally as opening titles were rolling)...but DP sustained ankle injury mid-garden hurtle, by tripping over wonky paving slab/ stack of plant pots.
Neighbours' nosy visitor (from upstairs bedroom window) was alerted to commotion (and DP's obscene swearing)...much frantic reassuring that, no, we weren't (clearly shit?) burglars ensued.
Half expected local plod to have been summoned, which would've been somewhat ironic
"Yes, Officer, we were so desperate to see Line Of Duty finale (yeah, that's right, the police procedural drama) that we were forced to sneak covertly into our own house..."
To DP's smug satisfaction, we peeped through letterbox to check how long relatives took to get their arses in gear and actually set off: 17minutes!!
So I (grudgingly) admit his OTT contingency planning paid off
Anyhoo...
(aside from DP groaning for frozen pea re-application), hurrah: got to watch uninterrupted!!
Overall, within a 1 hr time constraint, and allowing for enough issues to remain unresolved/ pique our interests for next series, I was mostly satisfied. Congrats, Jed M.
Great acting all round, tonight.

- Disappointed Maneet a no-show (feel personally responsible: she had, after all, been on Gatwick Watch surveillance). Will cross fingers she's treated fairly and reinstated in series 5.
- Curious to know how VelmaJodie will deal with Ma'am being in clink/ being shown as fallible. She'd be the world's most irritating prison visitor.
- Am still rather in love with Farmer's Nana
. They can stay safe together in their protected new address.
- NobleTed, oh you were masterful with your gun skills and stern orders. (I'll even forgive you the police issue blouson).
Your MN admirers refuse to be swayed by mere rumours doubting your integrity. Oily Hilton did indeed bugger off, as hoped.
We got all teary when you half-smiled so lovingly/ proudly at your team of young fellas/ wee girls.
- Biggest plot surprise? Roz and Nick's kids were capable of speech and emotion all along...
