I am just loving it and can't get enough of it. I really want to see Mike Kresteva get his proper comeuppance!

Ifitquackslikeaduck I agree about Matthew Perry! It's like he's desperate to burst out with "could I BE anymore angry" Wink
It's easily my favourite thing on tv right now.

I17neednumbers · 20/05/2017 22:09

did anyone understand how they finally got rid of paul who was accusing the pastor? i didn't understand what happened there.

I think Lucca could have given Colin a chance to defend himself against the allegation she was just a trophy - why just take Clarence's word for it?!

PastysPrincess · 20/05/2017 22:34

They used the fitbit data to prove that the lawyer and the accuser had already met before the allegations were made. That meant they were colluding together to try and force a financial settlement.

Optimist1 · 20/05/2017 22:42

And also discovered a link between the lawyer and a white supremacy group who would have been pleased to discredit a black pastor.

MEgirl · 20/05/2017 22:59

Is this on UK TV or are you watching elsewhere?

CurbsideProphet · 20/05/2017 23:54

@MEgirl it's on More 4, Thursdays at 9pm Smile

MEgirl · 21/05/2017 00:08

Thanks

Travelledtheworld · 21/05/2017 08:27

Long term GW fanatic here and I wasn't quite sure about this spin off. But now I''m loving it.
I was annoyed by Elspeths big lacy collar in Episode 4 (social media). But it's lovely to see her and her quirky ways back again
And they KNOW that Neil Gross is a tracky character don't they ?
But the'll do anything for the money. Shame.

TheweewitchRoz · 21/05/2017 13:25

Checking in as I love this show!

Andylion · 21/05/2017 16:49

I thought Matthew Perry was excellent, and very non-Chandler.

I17neednumbers · 21/05/2017 19:48

Thanks all - I was confused!

Do they now have joint managing partners at the firm as a result of the split vote? I wasn't sure quite how they intended to resolve that.

Or why Barbara had first not voted, and then been allowed to vote after the votes had been counted.

PastysPrincess · 21/05/2017 20:50

I got this quote from the linked article. I think the tie vote means there will be a battle for control of the firm in future episodes.
"After a blizzard of last-minute campaigning, it’s revealed that Reddick brought Julius Cane in to vote, which gives him the victory over Boseman, and means he can take the firm away from him. That is, until Kolstad casts her vote as well, not just for Boseman, but for the future of the firm. That leaves us with a split vote and sets the stage for a face-off between the founding partners of this historic law firm."

Loved it! I'd love to see Eli back. Colin Sweeney is great and Elspeth.

Goldfishjane · 22/05/2017 00:44

The social media episode was superb

Also the scene with Lucca and Colin in the car was beautifully done.

SapphireStrange · 23/05/2017 13:09

Run, do you mean Colin Sweeney is coming back later? I haven't seen him yet and am wondering if I've missed one.

houseofstark · 23/05/2017 14:37

Sapphire I think Colin Sweeney is in it this week. I hate his character but love the stories with him in!

SapphireStrange · 23/05/2017 15:58

I'll look forward to it!

He is a vile character, but one of the things I liked about The Good Wife was that the morality of things was never as black and white as it might have been.

I17neednumbers · 26/05/2017 20:03

A really good episode last night - the FBI interview was gripping and the other story was serious and amusing.

Just one question - there was no reference at all to the stand-off between Adrian and Carl? What's happened? Did I miss an episode - you would have expected at least a glancing mention of the ongoing internal politics, surely? And I missed Marissa, but let's hope she's back next week!

Optimist1 · 26/05/2017 20:59

Poor Maia not knowing how much she could admit to knowing or suspecting or just doubting. That arrangement whereby she is granted immunity from prosecution unless they think you're lying in which case they'll prosecute is very clunky isn't it?

No, we haven't heard any more about the power struggle between Adrian and Carl, I17 - I'm guessing that will raise its ugly head in a future episode.

Cocolepew · 26/05/2017 21:05

I'm loving this but find Maia incredibly annoying.

bagelbaby · 27/05/2017 09:39

The appearance of Colin Sweeney made me gasp! Delighted to see him back.
Love everything about this series - even if I don't quite get some of the plots!

Optimist1 · 27/05/2017 10:12

I know what you mean about Maia, Coco - she's never going to grow up to be a Diane! Her dilemmas about her current situation are well portrayed though.

PastysPrincess · 27/05/2017 10:33

Yes I find Maia annoying, it's like everything gets stuck in her throat.

Loved it when when Diane was really shocked she actually believed Colin Sweeney.
