It took me a year after having DD to be able to watch OBEM again without turning into an utter sobbing mess!

Feel slightly sorry for her. That would be awful to be going through that pain whilst he's on the phone to his girlfriend.

I imagine it's all happy families at the moment but once the baby is born and reality sets in it may get messy.

I honestly would have believed it if she was 14. I feel so sorry for her, but at least it's making me feel a bit better - I must be more prepared for parenthood than these two!

Yes, very messy. There have been a couple of similar threads on the Relationship board. I think they're being pretty naive and he's having his cake and eating it. I think their midwife is a bit flakey too. God, I sound really miserable. I just like the birth part when we meet the babies and find out their names. The dads always get on my tits!
