The only vague reason i could buy the Paul sleeping with Kim storyline is that in the clip when Scott goes to visit her in the squat she's says something blunt like you can have sex with me if you want. Making me think that she shagged someone else. However the fact that in the original episodes when Paul finds out Kim is pregnant he doesn't panic and think it could be his - which if he'd slept with her he might.

Totally unconvincing for Paul to be the dad, but then Neighbours does specialise in the totally unconvincing.

I'm sure this has happened to Paul before! Didn't Rebecca tell Paul he was the father of Oliver, the guy seeing his daughter Elle, before it all turned out not to be true?

DigitalSpy, confusingly, has spoilers continuing to refer to Amy and Leo's "relationship" after the big paternity revelation. Coming up on 13th April: "Elsewhere, Amy and Leo hit a bump in their relationship, but can they work things out?" Further references on subsequent days.

Does this mean Paul ISN'T the dad, and is covering for someone else?
(And if they can trick us about this, is the return of Real Dee still a possibility??)

No, the term relationship doesn't need to be romantic. That's why they used it.

Too many plot holes about Paul. Was this before she ran away? She looked very young so don't believe the hotel story. Haven't looked at spoiler.

Yes, must agree, can't imagine the Kim Taylor of those early clips being capable of looking anything like a uni student and of age - that didn't seem to be in her character.

In today's episode Paul clearly says he only found out after that Kim and Scott were in the same year at school. So they've changed Scott's age? Or is everyone just presuming he was 18 at the time?

The twins mention their age as 30 an awful lot so it would have to 1986 this all occurred... making Paul 21/22.

Kim also ran away before knowing she was pregnant... but today says she had to run away upon finding out.

I don't understand who Hiabachen is and how she would be so involved in their life if she's the mother of the Japanese business man that Kim's mother had an affair with.

Still sooooo hard for us that Toadie isn't the good guy. Also so hard for Toadie himself to find himself no longer the good guy. Really hard to sympathise with Sonya and Mark. Is it a piece of genius that they've done this? You'd think we'd immediately be sympathising with the wronged wife. But then, not that many of us have come across a "dead wife"returning scenario I imagine. I keep thinking "be sensitive to Toadie's feelings!" And then remember.

Where's Badee gone? Did he cancel the cheque? Mark is not doing his job and Paul KNEW she was a school girl, it's all wrong wrong wrong

Hah, I think the looking back at previous storylines/talking with scripts dpt must have consisted of having a quick flick through old episodes for clips to cobble together to convince us the Paul/Kim story made sense - i.e. the "flashback" early in today's episode of young Kim walking through a doorway (with trademark deer-in headlights look) before a cut to young Paul (what is that necklace!) in his bed at home.

Oh wow belly, that clip is amazing . Why, when I watch old clips, do the actors seem to have really strong Aussie accents? Am I imagining things? Susan, Karl, sonya, Elly, Paige etc etc... None of them sound as strong as the ones who were in it in the eighties. Or am I just used to their accents now?

My mum and I used to joke that there were only 15 actors in Australia and they all did the rounds. Neighbours, Sons & Daughters, Flying doctors, The Sullivan's etc etc ....
