I'm just catching up (darn school holidays interfering with my neighbour's watching!) and in mondays episode, Paul says to Kim 'does Scott know?' - implying he thinks Scott is the father. So maybe Paul agrees to be part of a cover up to (mistakenly, according to original neighbour's plot lines) protect Scott. Double win for him - help his brother, and scupper any chance of a relationship between Leo and Amy?

Paul is definitely not the father, I refuse to accept that. I think the rush to try and stop them from doing anything was to make that more believable and stop them questioning it

Also the quote is from the guy who plays David rather than the script writers which to me reads as the spiel a producer gave them when explaining the plot. To me it sounds like he just took their word for it rather than knowing anything or researching himself.

Did Pail know Kim's age back then? Maybe she lied about her age and he slept with her and that's why she felt guilt.

Pens, we all watched the old clips. That's not possible. She dated Scott and met Paul through him. Paul definitely knew her age.
