Does the man never talk to a woman without falling in love?

Still holding out hope for RealDee, but hopes fading fast...

I think on wiki when I looked earlier it was that he was difficult to work with and there were rows so they sacked him and Jason played him post school.

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 21:02

I also only remember Julie with kids. They were all annoying apart from Philip. Poor Philip but her was a bit much with Hannah. Did he call her button or something?

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 21:03

30 years he could be rounding up a few months? Maybe will be 30 soon?

Just doesn't make sense with her leaving.

ReggaeShark · 01/04/2017 22:11

Who's Julie?

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 22:16

The other Robinson sister. She came back as an adult in the 90s and was a PITA. I think she was murdered in the end. Maybe fell off the balcony?

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 22:17

She was mum or step mum, can't remember which, to Hannah and whiny Debbie and there was a brother... what was his name?

woodhill · 01/04/2017 22:23

Michael and he hated Julie

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 22:30

Ah yes. He was evil, wasn't he? Or maybe just frowny... I think he did bad things though. Can't remember.

Mogtheanxiouscat · 01/04/2017 22:33

I wondered if Jim Robinson could be the dad. But if she was only 15/16 then I hope not.

The Udegowas must be involved somehow. What with Jasmine saying they are still hiding something. Maybe one of them is Kim's Dad?

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 22:33

Was looking at Julie but who was Jill the other sister? I don't remember her

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 22:35

Yeah I think that Kim's dad is awol (also not mentioned in the old eps) then there's def a possible udagawa connection.

AprilLudgateDwyer · 01/04/2017 22:40

So glad I've found this thread! Loving it! Loving the old neighbours! I remember the robinsons kitchen like that.

Lovewineandchocs · 01/04/2017 22:44

middleclass Jill was a retconned sister, it came out after Helen Daniels died that Ann Robinson had had an affair with Max Ramsay and got pregnant with Jill, who came into it years later. She was Kate, Sophie and Harry's mum.

MommaGee · 01/04/2017 22:44

Yeah Kim grew up not knowing her Dad

MiddleClassProblem · 01/04/2017 22:45

Ah, got ya. There wasn't a room for her in the Robinson house then 😁

Lovewineandchocs · 01/04/2017 22:49

Grin apparently not. Surprising, as they seem to have had rooms over the years for anyone who randomly turned up-like Beth.

Daffydil · 02/04/2017 08:39

Didn't someone (maybe Micheal?) gaslight Julie and make her think she was an alcoholic?

AprilLudgateDwyer · 02/04/2017 10:04

I remember Hannah stuffing Julie's bra with socks becaue she wanted big boobs! Haha

MiddleClassProblem · 02/04/2017 10:36

That sounds like Michael. I remember Hannah getting braces. Hard hitting ep.

PensPencilsandRulers · 02/04/2017 18:11

Urgh Hannah has to have been the most annoying neighbours character ever (though mama tanaka is giving her a run for her money!)
Bridget, Kate, Mickey and small Ben are runners up.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 02/04/2017 19:19

I don't think Paul can be the father. The Udagawas seem to know something about it all, probably the identity of the real father and they seem to have known for a long time. Paul fake-married Gail in order to impress the original Mr Udagawa who was very conservative and pro-family. Surely that would have been completely pointless if Mr Udagawa already knew him to have impregnated a 15 year old with twins and then abandoned her???

Or am I a) being too logical and b) displaying closer attention to past storylines than the actual writers?

Smidge001 · 02/04/2017 19:35

I agree washing

I also applaud you for mentioning Paul and Gail. They were my favourite storyline on neighbours ever. They totally loved each other but both felt it had to be fake. I loved the romance . I used to write the plot of neighbors each day around this time. I mean, after watching each episode I wrote it down every night like a diary / old style blog entry into a 'spare' exercise book I had from school (not that I was actually a script writer Grin). I lived neighbours at that time. I couldn't wait to go to bed to secretly write down the stories Blush. I kept the book hidden from family/friends and only threw it out about 10years ago when my parents said they were going to get my old room redecorated and asked me to clear out my old cupboards!!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 02/04/2017 20:47

I loved Paul & Gail together too. They used to do longing glances at each other when they thought the other wasn't looking.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 02/04/2017 21:52

Me too. I loved them and their 'romantic' storyline. I recorded the episode when they finally got together. I remember getting mightily pissed off with my brothers for recording over it.

Not sure quite why it grabbed me so much but have just watched fuzzy/wobbly copies on YouTube. The fashion is gobsmacking, but they still had chemistry. Mind you there's an episode where Paul gives Gail a necklace which is so godawful that I said out loud 'dear god what is that' and then had some explaining to do about wtf I was watching barely visible snippets of TV from the 80s Blush.
