I don't think there is a dad on the birth certificate, they just found a record of someone called Brad being removed from the hospital to be kept away from their mum, or something!

I honestly can't remember. I don't think so.

On wiki and perfect blend it suggest that she leaves after reconciling with her mum and I'm assuming there was no formal plot before that as it seems to be one of Scott's first plots (I wasn't even 1 so no recollection but probably "watching"😁).

Just scoured DS spoilers for hints about the dad & it might be worth a read for anyone who can't wait... Nothing specific but something might be deducible from later storylines...

Well she made up with her mum at the end of that second set of clips, so it looks like she left then.

This was right back at the very beginning of Neighbours. I thought it was the best programme ever. I still do!

I'm sure the bunk bed room was downstairs as there was no clumping up the stairs and Helen seemed to follow him. Thought it was a bungalow, only the Willis house seemed to have stairs.

MiddleClass I was thinking that, but did Kim say something about them being 30? They'd have been born in 1986 in that case as I don't think they've had their birthday since arriving in Erinsborough. Unless they were conceived straight after her losing the first pregnancy, which is always possible given how they shoehorned in all of Brad and Lauren's kids! 😀 They definitely, if not re-wrote, at least messed about a bit with history re Brad and Lauren. Lauren had chlamydia when in Ramsay St and Pam said her chances of pregnancy were greatly reduced. Brad buggered off to work on a cruise ship for about 3 months and broke up with her when he came back, then she stayed for another few months, joined that cult etc. Then left to work in the stables she had worked in previously. According to the retconned Neighbours plot she was 6 months pregnant when she left Ramsay St-now I'm pretty sure someone would have noticed and also that she wouldn't have taken a job working with horses since she was that far along. I also think when she came back in 2013 that the writers originally wrote Mason as being Brad's son then changed direction when they saw he wasn't popular with audiences.
Anyway, if they can play fast and loose with history in that plot, and add frankly unbelievable twists like Jill Ramsay (just how many affairs can a couple have between them and still be together?!) I think they will re-write Kim's story in a way that will discredit certain characters and enrage us

Just did a quick search and apparently Original Scott's last episode was number 170 and Jason Donovan started in episode number 188, so very quick turnover.

Why did they axe the first Scott, he seemed reasonable. Even Kim's acting was better, the actress hasn't aged well.
