Does the man never talk to a woman without falling in love?

Still holding out hope for RealDee, but hopes fading fast...

Totally agree about the door / window issue in the baby's room. I have told myself that it must be a side return, but it just looks so wrong. As does the stupid tiny round cot.

I am definitely Team Toadie. I really hope they don't get back together. He would be so much better on his own.

I think we're going to need a bigger well.

OP posts:
ZackyVengeance · 29/03/2017 19:25

That is an odd cot, ever so low with big gaps.

HairsprayQueen · 29/03/2017 19:29

I'm definitely not Team Toadie. He shagged someone else while still married, I'm with Sonya, non negotiable in my eyes.

I'm not Team Sonya either, but there we go.

Everyone has been shite in this whole situation to be honest.

And yes, the door/nursery set up had been bothering me too, I can't imagine the floor plan of the house in my head, it doesn't make much sense!

Sheila's a dickhead too.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 29/03/2017 19:48

The only thing harder to fathom than Brad's 4 kids in 2 years is the layout of the houses on Ramsey Street. It's almost certainly not worth the burst blood vessels trying to work it out.

I suspect that they have some kind of clip-on pod that each house owns a time share in so that they can increase and decrease the number of rooms in a particular house as plot demands.

CurbsideProphet · 29/03/2017 20:20

Houses on Ramsay Street have as many bedrooms as are required for the current occupants!

I'm hopeful that Sonya and Mark will get together and leave. Sonya admitted that she pushed to be surrogate for Mark/Steph because she wanted another child. I've not been keen on the whole storyline.

Is that Dee gone for good now?

Daffydil · 29/03/2017 20:24

It's a Stokke cot isn't it? And I'm sure Nell was in a stokke pushchair too

dippywhentired · 29/03/2017 20:29

I wondered about the size of the cot too - it looks more like Moses basket size, so would only be big enough for a really short time!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 29/03/2017 20:41

I want an Infinitely-Extendible Ramsay Stret House (TM). I could, have a room for books and a room for craft stuff.

I am slightly Team Toadie, though he was wrong to sleep with Fake Dee. It is going to be a rough few weeks for him, as he grieves for Dee all, over again, and Willow.

Sheila is getting right in my tits, being such a bitch about Gary and Therese. He is a grown man, fgs, and can date whoever he wants. Getting pissed and texting Gary's ex-wife (can't remember her name I'm afraid) was Not On.

PensPencilsandRulers · 29/03/2017 21:01

I'm sure someone posted floor plans for the houses on the last thread, think they were from the Perfect Blend thread.
Why are all the houses bungalows? Is that quite common in Oz? Why is Mark's house really high up as well? They have to climb a massive staircase to get to the front door.

Daffydil · 29/03/2017 21:04

I think this is the cot. It grows.

SESthebrave · 29/03/2017 21:41

Unlurking to join Team Toadie. I don't agree with him sleeping with another woman but she manipulated him and he thought Sonya had slept with Mark.

I've come to really dislike Mark plus the actor who plays him is not conveying Mark in a way I can relate to.

As for Paige and Jack, I think a big part of Jack does want to leave the priesthood for Paige and their baby. I just wish he would! He's currently trying to have his cake and eat it.

dylsmimi · 29/03/2017 21:54

I think the cot is a fancy one that goes from Moses basket /bedside crib to bed and then possibly a chair? All to show what a 'great dad' Mark would be obviously!!
I loved Karls face when Susan was talking about forgiveness and the relationship he really looked as if he was reliving his own moment
We need some light relief surely! Some kind of pet fiasco or something but nothing to do with sausages Envy - not envy

Fl0ellafunbags · 29/03/2017 22:16

I want to punch Mark in the nuts. How dare he man handle Toadie like that! Sanctimonious git!

Can I join the queue?

Toadie isn't entirely blameless but Sonya was in bed with Mr Magnolia and BaDee showed him her shoulder. We all know that a red blooded lawman like Toadie can't resist a lady shoulder!

MiddleClassProblem · 29/03/2017 22:26

Def floor plans out there. Will have a scout. Terese's house is the only one with an upstairs I think. When you watch Wanted Down Under I think they're mostly bungalows 😁

MiddleClassProblem · 29/03/2017 22:27

Oh and when Mark and Toadie were doing the wall jig I was wondering what Tyler was holding but turns out he was just begging the cot. Not randomly watching an argument mid putting up a shower curtain...

MiddleClassProblem · 29/03/2017 22:28

Brenan house

No idea which one is meant to be nursery

Fl0ellafunbags · 29/03/2017 22:48

They've whacked an extension on the back without planning permission - that's why it's not on the floorplans.

BlackCelebration · 29/03/2017 23:25

Fl0ella I'm right there with ya! Grin

AGnu · 29/03/2017 23:28

Ellie is going to have Mark's baby - he dropped Caitlin's toy & she leaned down to pick it up.

I'm of the opinion that Toadie & Sonya are equally to blame for their relationship breakdown but what I find most appalling is the way Toadie made it all about him. Sonya made it clear she didn't want him at the service, he turned up anyway, albeit rather late & why was Gary the only one still there?! Surely Susan/Steph would've been hovering! Her reaction to him at the service was clear & yet he turned up at the wake demanding to talk. Who does that?! He should've snuck in at the back of the service, if he'd got there on time, & lurked at the wake without causing a scene so Sonya knew he was there to support her but that he respected that it was about her dead baby & not their relationship. Actually made me quite angry! I'm pregnant & prone to emotional outbursts ATM!

MommaGee · 29/03/2017 23:45

Agree Agnu, he's being totally selfish. She lost her baby, saw him cheat. He never once questioned what Nelly said, didn't give her the benefit of the doubt and talk to her. Just stormed off and shagged BaDee. No sympathy!!!!!

Jetcatblackcat · 29/03/2017 23:50

Agnu I completely agree though still team toadie house of trouser forever

My twat of an ex did similar to me, after we had split up my brother died. Ex had only met my brother once in 10 years so there was no relationship there. I specifically told him I didn't want him at the funeral, yet he turned up anyway and made it all about him. I've never forgiven him for that, and despite my love for the Toad, he totally reminded me of my ex today Sad

HairsprayQueen · 30/03/2017 07:33

I can't believe so many people (not just here) have 'an eye for an eye type reaction in this situation, i.e. He thought she was in bed with Mark so he did the same.

And yes, I agree totally Agnu and Momma about Toadie yesterday.

And now I'm going to calm down and remember it's a soap and I really shouldn't be feeling so angry Grin.

ZackyVengeance · 30/03/2017 07:46

we do take it very seriously(not as bad as the fb woman who is sure Kate is still alive)
i think i get annoyed with son and Mark so I don't get upset my the sadness.

MiddleClassProblem · 30/03/2017 08:03

I think it's a bit like when you see an arsehole character on telly or a film get slapped. No one condones it in really life and would be Shock if it happened but on telly you sometimes cheer it on.

I'm not saying anyone is being cheered on just your views of what happens in telly world aren't how you'd feel about a rl situation.
