I think that they should explore Sonyas emotional affair too, in fact I wish they had not had Toadie cheat with Dee but look at the effect a very close opposite sex friendship can have on married couples. Sonya was unhappy about Toadies friendship with Steph when she first came back.

Toadie was a complete prick for sleeping with fake Dee but sonyas behaviour was just as bad. Keeeping huge secrets from Toadie including the amino! Who does that? And then to confess that she did the surrogacy because she wanted another baby.......

I haven't seen yesterday's episode yet, but are you telling me the Catholic Church (my iPhone auto corrected that to have capital letters ) have decided it's fine that a catholic priest got a vulnerable love sick girl up the duff???! That is the most unrealistic plot line Neighbours have ever thrown up. Couldn't they at least have had some discussion about ordinary Christianity vs catholic? If he doesn't have to abide by celebacy / no sex before marriage, in exactly what way is he catholic?

Sonya's got form for emotional affairs too- didn't she have one with a widowed single father she met online? Can't remember how that one ended.

The Jack storyline has done the impossible for me - made me feel sorry for Paige, one of my least favourite characters!

I wish Toady hadn't slept with fake Dee too. Sonya definitely went way too far with the emotional affair with Mark, and I had forgotten about her previous online 'must help everyone and be a big hero' problems too.

That would have been a great plot line to explore - exactly why she can't be happy with her home and family/job, but instead has to be the saviour for everyone around her.

DH is in NZ at the moment, they're a week behind with Neighbours so this morning we spent our Skype time discussing Toady and Sonya's marital issues.

I'm not sure how I feel about that being our most important topic of conversation.

I wish that neighbours hadn't made sonya lose the baby because now when toadie tries to bring up sonya as mark's relationship he's going to look like a dick because they've just lost a baby. But yeah like others have said, sonya treated toadie so badly, lying about taking the day off work, not telling him about the amino, all the touching, hugging, whispers with Mark. Not fair. Especially as toadie was going through the massive upheaval of finding out his beloved late wife was alive and that he had a daughter he didn't know about.

Yeah there's a lot going on but no more mention of the fact that Toadie is now going to have to grieve for the loss of Dee again plus the daughter he thought he had and oh yeah...a hundred grand! Sonya can have the house in the divorce seeing as its been remortgaged now lol

She'll prob live with Mark. They'll convert the baby room into hers but she'll get to upset sleeping in there so have to share with Mark one night.

Yes, MCP, I was semi-impressed with Sonya, until she completely dismissed the effect hearing that Mark was in bed with her might have had on Toadie and insisted that divorce was in Nelly's best interests. Toadie has undergone a lot from her, all right, she's not been unfaithful, but she's really difficult. (You might have realised I think she's a full-blown PITA and though I don't condone Toady's behaviour, I think there are extenuating circumstances and it shouldn't be a deal-breaker.)
Karl's face when Susan was talking about how a betrayal like Toady's completely changes things and can't be forgotten, even if forgiven, was a picture! Nice piece of acting!

The layout of the baby's bedroom is really annoying me. The internal door is next to an external window so it looks like it's an annex instead of part of the main house. Who puts their baby in an annex?! The world's worst surrogate couple, that's who.

I want to punch Mark in the nuts. How dare he man handle Toadie like that! Sanctimonious git!

My heart is actually breaking for Toadie. As previous posters have covered, Mark and Sonya take no responsibility for there actions and Sonya's treatment of Toadie over the years is despicable. Grrrr! If only Dee had come back....
