zippitippitoes · 14/03/2007 21:03

ah but it was noy his recipe thats why he nurnt the pastry on the hob

he is so lacking in social skills..he sounded really rude to me to the chefs

pointydog · 14/03/2007 21:04

He is getting a bit arsey.

pointydog · 14/03/2007 21:05

Although I think they are put under huge unnecessary PRESHA.

fishie · 14/03/2007 21:09

pointydog, gregggg is so so like john and ben. mr millionaire olive writing columnist just hasn't had the elocution lessons. I HATE BEN.

pointydog · 14/03/2007 21:15

aw don't shatter the illusion, fishie. Gregg's the main reason I watch it. Ben never needed any elocution lessons. Gregg's a barrow boy made good.

fishie · 14/03/2007 21:21

well if a choice between him or ghastly torode....

anyway i am feeling more kindly towards him re food historian stuff. never liked him on veg talk either, but all radio 4 food progs dire.

CantSlimWontSlim · 14/03/2007 21:54

Bit late watching tonight, but it really does look as though Ben's blown it today doesn't it. John and Greg have been telling him all along that he wasn't getting the flavour in his food, and he's still got the same problem right at the end of the comp. Steven did well today, but I do think that Hannah has probably put herself into first place in the current running. Will be interesting to see how they all fair cooking their own food tomorrow.

Molesworth · 14/03/2007 22:00

I get the impression Hannah and Steven are neck and neck with Ben definitely lagging behind (just as well for he is an arse). They did brilliantly at the savoy didn't they? Very exciting!

Molesworth · 14/03/2007 22:01

Not sure if anyone has noticed but ...

.... this competition JUST GETS TOUGHER!

CantSlimWontSlim · 14/03/2007 22:02

Ooh no Molesworth, I hadn't noticed. Thank you very much for pointing it out.

Molesworth · 14/03/2007 22:04

Sorry, meant to add that whoever wins this competition, it will change their life

zippitippitoes · 14/03/2007 22:04

passion wil see them through in the end

foxinsocks · 14/03/2007 22:17

chaaaynge their life

they should have taken my earlier advice and got some valium before they started this week

Ben just gets worse and the other two just get better

Hannah's desserts looked marvellous (yummmy) - am always impressed with the sleb chefs (esp Raymond Blanc) who are SO polite and try and give praise where praise is due.

Molesworth · 14/03/2007 22:17

I fancy that michel roux junior something rotten

foxinsocks · 14/03/2007 22:18

you can have him and I'll have Scott off PA

Molesworth · 14/03/2007 22:20

now he really is a clean plate of food

foxinsocks · 14/03/2007 22:21

Molesworth · 14/03/2007 22:23

oh thank god there'll be something to fill the void left by masterchef/party animals!

looking forward to the apprentice too

Tinker · 14/03/2007 22:28

this competition JUST GETS TOUGHER!

lol Molesworth

chopchopbusybusy · 15/03/2007 10:44

Agreed zippitoes - I had heartburn just looking at that main course they served up at number 10. And served with a pasta starter and a pastry base for the pud

RTKangaMummy · 15/03/2007 11:14

But tonight BEN can cook his own food so he may get it right

I really really want HANNAH to win

zippitippitoes · 15/03/2007 11:25

i thought the prize was to work in a posh restaurant but not as head chef so ben will hate it any way

i think he just wnts to win so that his cheese shop has winner of masterchef 2007 on the wondow

RTKangaMummy · 15/03/2007 11:29

Zippi I agree

HullaBalloo · 15/03/2007 11:36

I have to look away when John and Gregg taste the food - it's a horrible sight. Both are fairly noisy eaters and Gregg holds his fork like a trowel and John opens his mouth so wide you get a ring-side view of his white furry tongue !

Alibobster · 15/03/2007 12:23

No way steven should win, after crying like a big baby in the Savoy. The only bad thing about the programme is the presenters. Imagine arriving in Cyprus to find those two standing on the beach - you'd just want to jump back in the boat and turn home!
