Hmmm. If that were the case it would mean Dar is now walking into a situation where he could be very publicly connected with a terrorist act. Carrie and Quinn have to get the evidence.

I have always maintained that SAUL IS GOOD.
I do think He looks quite Greek, if he is going to go hide out on his tiny island ( or was that just a lie because he thinks his ex wife will betray him, and he wants to divert the CIA while he is really in S America)

But if he really wants to go into hiding all he has to do is shave off his beard and get rid of his glasses......

We all know nothing is how it seems in Homeland, Saul is not in the clear.

I wondered whether the thing with Mrs Saul was a ruse to divert them. Why get in touch with her after being estranged for 2 years, only to tell her he was going to their secret place?

I think he wanted to warn her that the bad men were about to come knocking, and he also wanted to plant a red herring so that if she did cave and tell them, she'd be sending them the wrong way.

And then he went and gave himself away by shouting in the street outside Carrie's house, and phoning her and telling her where he was. Not the best plan.

As for a disguise - well he could just go back to being Inigo Montoya

Why so very desperate to speak with her? And why isn't she answering his call? Surely she would know that Saul might run? And would want to let him know that she had not made her statement?

And all the talk of Frannie being in Care because she was allegedly held hostage, while actually Dar is holding her hostage against Carrie.

Wrt Saul and his gun haul: until the case is blown open he can still operate in full CIA mode, surely? He was able to command the whole meeting with Meera, with silver Range Rover etc. So presumably he can get himself out of the country?

That can be the end of the season finale - Dar and Saul in a sword fight on a high beam suspended over Carrie's unfortunate house while Quinn struggles to remember the word "fencing".

So Saul could trim his beard, slim into breeches and a nice leather jerkin and join the cast of Musketeers ?

This season seems to have gone really quickly! It feels like there is still so much more that need to happen for it to be wrapped up in 2 episodes!

Does anyone else find themselves blending Homeland with reality? I've just watched the Scary Trump documentary, and keep expecting Carrie or Saul to be there.

I am Looking for parallels with real life all the time.
I visit NYC two or three times a year so I am now getting myself mixed into the plot. All those lovely New York street scenes ! When Sauls wife was whisked away to Central Park West I knew where she was going.
I recognised the underpass and the apartment buildings she was taken to.
I am just loving this series.

I love seeing the scenes in New York too. Have been 3 times but not for a while now. Say Radio City in the background when Saul was crossing the road.
Also felt very sorry for PE Keane when she was so upset about her son's reputation being destroyed.

I hope Max is ok and no one tries to torture him or anything bad.

I am loving this series of Homeland. Quinn the incredible survivor and hard nut.

What are his ex Army pals doing with the van?

I thought the same about Max Halle - surely they'll kill him as they killed the FBI agent & he didn't know anything for sure!

I thought Quinn's ex army friends were Dar's black ops guys, so Dar has been behind the whole thing in order to get the PE on his side or get her to quit before taking office.

It's been a great series!

Unless the black ops guys have another leader such as whoever is funding the shock jock guy.
