Taxi man got ignored by Miller's sons porn friend when he went home- they are my two suspects at the Mo, taxi driver raping and son recorded it. Trish I think slept with her friends husband on the morning before the rape that why she doesn't want to tell the police who she slept with. Don't know what her ex wants wiped from his computer tho. I thought that it was taxi man taking keys out of drawer but couldn't make out the faces in the photo. This is my first watch, going to try and catch up with the others.

I think the keys are a hint towards it having been a swinging party. Isn't there a thing where women put their keys in a bowl and then men blindly select one set of keys and sleep with the owner. Or vice versa.

OK, here we go:

Taxi driver = Clive aka Lucas. He is the one with the failed medical career, the downtrodden wife, the secret drawer of what look like trophies (jewellery, etc) including Trish's keyring, and the stepson who is one of the porn-watching teen boys AND one of the group of boys who called for Hardy's daughter.

Creepy rope guy = Leo. He is the one who works in the rope/net factory and who Trish's ex asked to wipe his computer clean.

I thought that the porn that the boys were watching involved people they know. Teens that age just wouldn't be THAT fascinated by any old porn they had found on the internet.

Felt the line about being ashamed to be a man worked well, but find the other public service announcements a bit forced, tbh - good that the writer is rying to debunk rape myths, but it's clumsily done. The "rape is about power not sex" sounded especially clunky last night. I suppose it's a good twist that the chief perpetrator of said myths is a young woman rather than an out of touch older bloke though - shows how pervasive they are.

Ellie's son is as creepy as ever. Feel a bit sorry for the actor. He's just creepy-looking

I think the taxi driver's wife is the sort to have sent the texts to Trish. She'll do anything, and put up with everything to avoid her marriage ending. I reckon she suspects her husband.

I can see it being taxi drivers wife texting - she's very tightly wound.

I actually came to say there's a thing on fb that is alluding to the taxi drivers stepson being her Saturday morning shag. Making Trish ALSO a sex offender? I hope not.

Is Taxi Mans Porn Watching Stepson young (underaged young). I hope its not that - it being her friend's husband makes sense. Especially if they are together because of emotions rather than just sex (assuming it was a sex party), Trish would be trying to keep it secret - her friend might be ok with the physical act if sex with other people but not his have feelings for another.

Don't like that guy - his 'pasta: again' comment put me right off him. Not that o like many of the men in it!!

I don't think Trish (victim - right name?) shagged her friend's husband, unless it was with friend there as well.

It crossed my mind that what Trish's ex wanted wiped was some sort of tracking programme which he'd been using to keep tabs on her? So Rope Guy would need access to whichever of Trish's devices was being tracked - not easy for Trish's ex to provide.

Could the porn that the boys are watching be of one of their teachers who turns out to be Trish's ex husband?

Are we really supposed to believe Taxi Man (who's not coming across as the brightest light in the harbour, during his dealings with Ellie and Alec) was at Uni doing medicine??

Or is his dimness one big act?

Interesting that you mention a teacher, Sunnymeg - Trish's estranged husband is dating a geography teacher called Sarah. It could be that the boys have found sex vids featuring her (and others). I can't remember what Trish's ex does for a living.

Lucas/Clive's frumpy wife gave me the creeps. Great actress.

I wonder if Joe Miller will return at the end. I like the actor.

I'd assume creepy ex husband got rope guy to install spying or tracking software on Trish 's laptop. He could have arranged to do it before moving out.

Surely Millers son has to be a red herring.... it can't be her husband, and then her son. Surely no policewoman is quite that unlucky

Have just watched the episode and felt suspicious of Ellie's son - being so gleeful about still having porn on his phone and egging on friend who wasn't so keen...it made me wonder if the apple didn't fall so far from the tree of Joe Miller.

Yes I'm also wondering if Trish slept with party-throwing husband, the one with condoms in his boot. And I also thought Trish's husband had had a tracking device installed. Why doesn't he want to give his DNA? Has he committed a crime? I don't think the rape. tho Maybe stepson isn't speaking to taxi driver because he's seen him on some of the porn videos. And how does horrible detective daughter of Lenny Henry fit in?

It's fab! I love the relationship the two detectives have most of all, it's so realistic. I often partner a man at work who never eats, will never stop for lunch when we're on a job, drives me insane.

I thought the teacher had porn or access to the dark web on his computer hence meeting at night to ask rope-boy to wipe it. Surely if it was just a tracking device, he could meet during the day to chat about it. Rope-boy wouldn't necessarily know it was for spying on his ex.
I found this week's episode quite emotional

I suspect Trish has slept with the Miller she n hence she couldn't say when questioned.

Did Trish say her keys had been taken? If not, could Taxi Driver be the Sat morning shag? And he had her keys because he was used to letting himself into her house? Although I agree the secret drawer in the sinister lock up did look like a trophy drawer, regardless.

And yes, I found this ep very triggering - nearly as bad as the first one
