Graphista I think, or rather hope, that the message they're trying to make is that just because a woman is sexually active or intoxicated does not make her rape less serious.

I reckon that Trish has been sleeping with Cath's husband. Her ex found out about it and that's what the row was about. I also think she will have slept with Mark Latimer somewhere along the line, having hooked up with him online.

Some aspects of this do annoy me. Why did Trish meet the rape crisis woman in a small, quiet cafe? Why did DT pick her up from there, making it obvious that rape crisis woman had told him where they were? Why does RCW look so well-groomed and glossy?

So on the list of people who attended the party one of the names was highlighted Ed Burnett is that dc's dad? Is that why she had to talk to him? It must be someone she knows from the way she reacted. Also person who picked up plastic bag with blue gloves had black plimsolls on not police shoes.

Ed Burnett is Lenny Henry. Taxi driver was the one in last week's episode in Trish's street - just found a cast list on Radio Times with a picture confirming it.

He was just seen by DT when he was outside Trish house down the road and looking suspious. He's quite a good suspect if he wanted a date she said no, plus going awol without radio. Though husband was washing kit too...

The pauline quirke character moved away in the end - she was a suspect as she had the boy's skateboard , thats all i can remember really.
she was a loner living in a caravan by the beach.

holly she moved to the area because suspected her son lived there. It was Mark Lattimers workmate. He was taken by SS when he was born as the dad was sexually abising their dds. PQ insisted she didnt know and that police twisted her words. She was asked repeatedly by OC how she couldnt know. Poigniant seeing as what we later found out happened with her husband.

I think the young dc (Katie?) who we found out is ed burnett's daughter, is dodgy and has something to do with it or knows something. Perhaps she knows something about her dad, or has some link to the cocky lad who worked in the rope factory (basing that purely on similar age/live in same town!) perhaps she also owns a pair of black plimsolls......???? She was definitely concerned to see her dad's name highlighted on that list.
I'm definitely going to rewatch now to look for clues!

God series 2 was dull. I had to google to remind myself actually what it was about.

Am interested to see how series 3 turns out. I love DT but possibly because I find his accent sexy.

It's gotten off to a good start though.

I hope we see Nige again...he was Mark Latimer's workmates in both the first two seasons. No sign of him yet...have tweeted the actor to ask him if he's in this one.
