Sorry I've but I have managed to view a still frame one at a time but not how to actually slow it down!! However trying to do so has been most enjoyable. Also taking quite a lot of my time as each time I pick up my phone I have to have a quick watch. ( just to make sure it is still there of course!!)

Evening, nothing much to report at Lechley Park, just popping in to say hello. Was nice to see some pics. Starting to feel a little bit excited that we might soon be able to start discussing and having watchalongs. Does anyone fancy a series two rewatchalong soon? Might be nice to get ourselves in practice for the real thing.

Off to watch Poldark soon. It's got a bit daft and in my opinion Ross has gone off the boil.

I binge watched the whole second series in two parts a few months back and really enjoyed it like that. I also wasn't half so critical and found myself more emotionally engaged. Mind you, I still think episode two was the high point and MK showed her mettle when she was at her lowest point in the story. I wonder if Georgie will still be fighting the PTSD in the next series? It would be very unlikely if she wasn't still troubled. As I mentioned once before we've had a case in my own family linked to military service and it took 20 years to fully manifest itself to the point that help was needed. I hope this on-going issue reflected to some extent even though I'm sure like many other people the character has managed to get on with her life but it shouldn't really be just brushed under the carpet as if it can be cured in a few weeks.

Evening everyone. Ilove reporting for duty! I was on holiday last week with variable wifi so not able to post. There were a few interesting photos from the latest filming. I'm getting quite excited again now!

It was a gardening trip last week with my best friend but there was a fair amount of retail therapy thrown in for good measure too. We went into Windsor one day and happened to be near the castle for Changing the Guard. How times have changed - the security was a real eye opener. Armed police watching the crowds, police 4x4s where the roads were closed off and anti ram raid barriers across certain roads. Not sure most of the Oriental tourists would have noticed but it certainly made us think. There were snipers around the town too according to one of the shop assistants but we didn't know this at the time.

How young most of the soldiers looked! The ones on guard duty outside the barracks looked about 15!

Rhu I am definitely up for a watchalong. When were you thinking? I am away again next week and back on 15 August. Got a trip to Prince Charles' gardens at Highgrove to fit in on the way back home too.

What has everyone been up to?

Quick post from holiday across the pond! First time in years we haven't gone to France. Having a fab time except I've been bitten dreadfully and had a particularly bad reaction to a couple of them. We are staying quite rurally at the moment and the mozzies are dreadful. One week in and another two to go!

I'm being good and reducing my time online. I've taken up crochet again. So far I've done 2 bags, 2 blankets, 2 scarfs and taught myself some new stitches and techniques.... and spent time online looking at Pinterest for ideas

Off home next week with boys to visit mum. We've not told her so will be a great surprise

Hi all. Guess it wouldn't do any of us any harm to reduce our time online ice. The internet is amazing but it's also addictive. I was waiting at the doctors the other day and every single person in the waiting room was on his/her phone!

What a lovely surprise for your Mum. How is she doing ice?

I finally got my pension stuff sorted out today. I hadn't really appreciated it would take this long. My ex-boss had said it took him 6 months but I didn't believe him but this is more or less what it will have taken.

Off on holiday again on Monday - it seems to have come round very quickly!

Exciting indeed as it confirms the first one of theseries will be aired before Christmas. DVD A bit late for christmas present though. Again Ice has the news for us all. I hope things have gone well with your visit to see your mum. Visiting DH in London this weekend so busy busy!!! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer in spite of the very unsettled weather.

Having a lovely time yorks. It's very bittersweet though as mum is so restricted in what she can do. And her brain-to-speech isn't getting better so she struggles to hold a conversation. It must be so frustrating not to be able to talk like you want to.

Here I am spending the weekend in Molly territory! Well not quite but have been on the cable car with the whole of the East end on view. The Olympic park etc so I think you can guess where my mind was, especially with all the ff stories who mentioned it. Haven't made it to the nespresso shop in Regent Street though. Had a great time with DD and still a day and a half to go
