Time for a new thread.

Last night's was the first time in ages I have actually enjoyed watching Corrie. What a difference a good plot twist can make!

Whilst we all recover from the shock of a plot not being immediately obvious from a mile away, just a reminder to everyone on the thread...however obvious a spoiler may seem to you, however many magazines it has been on the cover of, we don't talk about it on here. We are spoiler free.

Stone - of course! You're right! He was hanging about down that alley watching Shona when he found Bethany who'd overdosed on slimming pills. I'd forgotten that!

So, will Shona ride to the rescue when she discovers Bethany's involvement with Nathan and become the Platt's hero?

And then fall in love with David and be the new Kylie

Ooh, just found this thread. I missed Friday nights episode, do we know what Nathans intentions are yet?

He's obviously got some nasty plan for Bethany. It would be so much more interesting if we were unsure about it, and wondering if he was genuine. Pantomime villain stuff again, like Phelan. There's just no subtlety any more in any of the storylines.

I see Phelan returned last night.

As much as I don't like Gary (wobbly head as he's nicknamed in our house) and that little dance he does when he's tutting and having yet another mini-tantrum cause yet something else didn't go his way. He was right to be furious about Nathan.

Eating Shepherds Pie for tea at the age of 35 at his 16 year old girlfriend's mum's house around the family tea table ? Just didn't ring true to me. (Yes I know it's part of the story line.) Then asking if it was OK to see Nathan on a school night ?

What really made me cringe was Sara-Lou having a mother-trying-to-be-bestie conversation with Bethany about being on the contraceptive pill. Then trying to be all BFF saying lets stay in and watch a film and have nice food this evening. Or whatever, 'trying to be fashionable' way she said it.

By the age of 16 Sara-Lou had a two year old girl in tow, i.e. Bethany.

Gary and Sarah getting their own house seems a bit far-fetched. Neither of them have much money to throw around.

Didn't Sarah lose £15000 to Phelan and his dodgy apartments, and Gary never seems to have a penny so I'd love to know how they can afford it.

As much as I don't like Nick I'm beginning to feel a bit sorry for him, I was delighted when Michelle sent him that photo.

Gary and Sarah getting a house together, Sinead and Daniel getting a place together. How, exactly?

I don't feel sorry for nick, i think he's being an emotionally abusive, sulky arse.

Liked the new barman in the Bistro tonight - hope he'll be sticking around for a bit!

Finding it really hard to feel sorry for Nick or Michelle any more. Nick needs to stop sulking like a child, and Michelle's just showing herself up, I don't understand why she's aiming her anger at Leanne rather than Steve.

Michelle is becoming obnoxious. Can't stand her now.

So Adam's plane must have passed Miley's plane on the way to Canada. I do read spoilers, but didn't know she was coming back. Don't they have hip surgeons for her granddad there? Or is it a ploy to get Faye to bond with her daughter?
