I don't think I'll be able to watch next weeks nightly; I'm going to hold out for the omnibus and get it over and done with at once.
That way less tears and upsets. This storyline, the way it's going has really got under my skin. And I've never experienced anyone I know having dementia or anyone close to anyone I know.

I hope that Charlotte Bellamy and John Middleton get recognition for their fantastic performances.

Am avoiding emmerdale, John Middleton is an amazing actor but this brings back too too many memories of my mum who passed away last year.

John Middleton is absolutely amazing. bonfireheart, my own mother had vascular dementia when she died 4 years ago and I find his performance is heart-rending - that look of bewilderment, quickly concealed, and then the pretence of being in control and knowing what's what and then letting slip something which proves to those close to you that you have absolutely no idea of where you are or who they are.. Like you, it has brought back many sad memories for me. Flowers

What's the point of Nell? Why kill off Holly just to clone her? I think I preferred Jai when he was a baddie anyway.

On Ireland AM they majorly hinted that Robert "thinks" he slept with Rebecca so maybe nothing happened after all? Fingers crossed!

Let's hope he was so drunk nothing actuallly happened then. But i don't see why Rebecca wouldn't have told him if that was the case, given she claims to be embarrassed about the sunsequent rejection.

Whether he slept with her or not, the flirting, attempted seduction and intention to cheat on his husband were all there from Robert. The husband he risked his life to save.
Ross already has one/two kids and didn't Kerry recently abort his child? So I don't think they'd have another pregnant storyline for him. Robert to be the dad and Becca leaves/dies, leaves loads of money, cue "gay dads" box ticked for Emmerdale. Danny Miller deserves better lol.

It doesn't make any sense that Paddy is all for Pierce now and doesn't believe Vanessa!
He totally set Paddy up before and humiliated Rhona about their sex life at the dinner party they were all at so why is he saying that Pierce wouldn't show anyone the sex tape. It's daft Hmm

They always do this....make the person who's right (Ness) look like the crazy one....Paddy defending Pierce just adds to it. It was the same with Katie when she was trying to prove Robert was the bad guy.

I've forgotten the name of Pierce's first wife, but I'm sure she told Paddy how awful he was. I'm really cross with Paddy as he is so dismissive of Ness, when we know he really cares about Rhona, and he is doing nothing to help her.

Paddy hated Pierce and now he's defending him instead of advising Rhona to dump him.

Ross and Adam are getting on great considering the last time they were together they were belting each other and Victoria ended up in hospital.

Emmerdale are just changing personalities depending on the storyline Hmm
