Which series makes you jealous of people who haven't watched it yet, because they get the joy of seeing it for the first time?

Fringe! I keep wanting to show it to DH but he is not in a telly watching mood v often at the moment.

BertieBotts · 01/02/2017 23:57

Oh yes, Orphan Black is another great one. I didn't know anything about it before I started watching and that was the best way.

EATmum · 02/02/2017 00:11

West Wing - best TV ever and I'm so jealous of anyone who gets to watch it fresh. We need Jed Bartlet now mire than ever!

Hidingtonothing · 02/02/2017 00:18

Shameless, Sons of Anarchy and Gilmore Girls. Binge watched all 7 seasons of GG a couple of months ago and then ruined it for myself by watching the reunion episodes which I hated Blush

BringMeTea · 02/02/2017 10:26

The Wire
The Sopranos
Line of Duty
Six Feet Under

HateSummer · 02/02/2017 10:29

The Walking Dead
Breaking Bad
Stranger Things
Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I want to say Lost, but recently I tried to rewatch it and found it incredibly slow paced and boring. Bad acting too. Can't believe I loved it over 10 years ago!

Natsku · 02/02/2017 10:32

No mention of Black Books?! Shock

mumsgirl1 · 05/03/2017 19:14

Sopranos
Breaking Bad
The Wire
The West Wing
In Treatment
Mad Men
Six Feet Under
Family At War (very old I know)
Everybody Loves Raymond
Father Ted
Toast
Friends
Frasier

Oooh I don't have much of a life do I? Hmm

SloanyAnne · 05/03/2017 19:20

I'm watching This Life for the first time now Smile

Gavin and Stacey
Green Wing
Friends
Call the Midwife
Desperate Housewives

I love fairly mindless TV

SloanyAnne · 05/03/2017 19:21

Oh and Mad Men which I binge watched last year.

talllikejerryhall · 05/03/2017 19:21

The Wire, totes

JustDanceAddict · 05/03/2017 19:34

Lost - argh! Was so invested in it and then the ending...

nong45 · 05/03/2017 19:48

The Wire. Nothing else comes close. Not even GoT. Can't bring myself to watch the Wire again, even a few years later. I think it was just so all-consuming at the time. We always re-watch the last season of GoT though just before the new one starts to remind ourselves where we got to!

StrawberryShortcake32 · 05/03/2017 19:52

Fringe
Grimm
Once upon a time
Black mirror

SixFeetUnder · 05/03/2017 19:57

Just had to agree with maisybobbins Six Feet Under for me is the best thing I have ever watched and the final episode was a masterpiece.

MoreThanUs · 05/03/2017 19:58

Line of duty

alphabook · 05/03/2017 20:09

Breaking Bad. I've rewatched it a couple of times and every time I feel slightly bereft that it's over.

SpringerS · 05/03/2017 21:49

The Americans. About a pair of KGB spies living deep cover in the US in the early 80s. It takes a few episodes to really get going as the pilot makes it seem extremely 'tropey' but once it does, it truly is fantastic. I think it's the best series I've ever seen and absolutely no-one watches it. Though thankfully shows aren't just made for ratings any more because it's been renewed to season 6 which is what the writers asked for to complete their story.

SapphireStrange · 06/03/2017 17:09

I'm in accord with everyone, basically: Grin

The West Wing
Mad Men
Six Feet Under
Frasier
The Good Wife
Black Books
This Life
Happy Valley
No Offence
First series of Sherlock

A wild card: the Sound of... series (The Sound of Cinema, The Sound of Musicals). Wonderful presenter, great footage, learned history and excellent industry gossip/legends.

sandylion · 06/03/2017 17:13

Arrested Development and Curb your Enthusiasm.

Welshcake77 · 06/03/2017 20:00

SpringerS we started to watch that but gave up after episode 2...sounds like it might be worth another chance!
