Fringe! I keep wanting to show it to DH but he is not in a telly watching mood v often at the moment.

Oh yes, Orphan Black is another great one. I didn't know anything about it before I started watching and that was the best way.

West Wing - best TV ever and I'm so jealous of anyone who gets to watch it fresh. We need Jed Bartlet now mire than ever!

Shameless, Sons of Anarchy and Gilmore Girls. Binge watched all 7 seasons of GG a couple of months ago and then ruined it for myself by watching the reunion episodes which I hated

Lost - argh! Was so invested in it and then the ending...

The Wire. Nothing else comes close. Not even GoT. Can't bring myself to watch the Wire again, even a few years later. I think it was just so all-consuming at the time. We always re-watch the last season of GoT though just before the new one starts to remind ourselves where we got to!

Just had to agree with maisybobbins Six Feet Under for me is the best thing I have ever watched and the final episode was a masterpiece.

Line of duty

Breaking Bad. I've rewatched it a couple of times and every time I feel slightly bereft that it's over.

The Americans. About a pair of KGB spies living deep cover in the US in the early 80s. It takes a few episodes to really get going as the pilot makes it seem extremely 'tropey' but once it does, it truly is fantastic. I think it's the best series I've ever seen and absolutely no-one watches it. Though thankfully shows aren't just made for ratings any more because it's been renewed to season 6 which is what the writers asked for to complete their story.
