Is there something dodgy with Ursula and money? Docking midwifes pay? Surely they always do loads of over time anyway. Is she supposed to show a saving?

Desolate, Top Gun famously features lots of foreboding conversations about how perfect the airmen's lives are and how much they have to live for, just before one is killed. It's not something confined to that film but it's a great example.

A bit like the opening scenes of Casualty when two characters talk about how happy they are. Start working out which one will survive the episode.

Ahh I loved tonights episode. Wasn't sure I was going to enjoy a series that wasn't as closely based on the original memoirs but am finding it quite entertaining and less gritty. That might not necessarily be as worthy as the first few series but it makes more enjoyable viewing.
