What's the betting that if you weren't on a BBC makeover show the council would take 6-8 weeks for an asbestos check instead of a couple of hours

I found what I thought was Asbestos when doing a DIY job over the summer. Got a chap round by the next day and the report was back within 24 hours. Cost £40.

I don't understand why they choose to do things , for the very first time, in the show. If I was on, I'd be practising before I went on.

Hmmm, I'm half-persuaded by this. Think that putty-coloured wall is a shade too pink for me though. But I do like the armchairs.

Those paint effects on the furniture are nasty.
