Will Gloti get a historic 120 points, will 3x bridesmaid Kev finally make it up the aisle, or will sis Jwan steal the glitterball and if so, do we have enough Kleenex for Ore?! It's #SCD10 FINAL 2016

In preparation for tonight. So who are you rooting for? Danny, Louise or Ore?
My preference would be:
Danny
Ore
Louise
But I really don't mind who wins and quite like the idea of Ore taking the trophy.

I'm never a fan of the Christmas special either. I can't put my finger on why.

MrsJayy · 17/12/2016 20:59

Thought Danny would win but the beeb wanted ore to win

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/12/2016 21:00

Hang on, before you all go I need to know!

Did Ricky Whittle and Nat have an affair?
If so how come I don't know about it and Kristina was always painted as a scarlet woman??

KimmySchmidtsSmile · 17/12/2016 21:00

Sorry I could not interact (on a kindle) but I bloody loved ALL of that start to finish. Could not choose between them, thought they all did really really well which really surprised me. Happy with the result. Hope you all had a good night (will go back and start reading now).

I wanted Ore from the very first show, though all my votes went to Ed until he was eliminated.

MrsJayy · 17/12/2016 21:01

I'm not annoyed Ore won I didn't hate him I wanted Claudia to be in the final and win

PurpleDaisies · 17/12/2016 21:01

Any bets on who'll be on next year?

I'm going to miss these threads. There'll be a hole in my life now. Grin

MoonriseKingdom · 17/12/2016 21:01

I think the problem with the Christmas special is it is a bit too nicey nicey - no real criticism. I like seeing past winners though

Runny · 17/12/2016 21:02

Christmas lunch will be interesting at the Clifton family home next week. Would love to be a fly on the wall Grin

A fantastic final. Some fantastic dancers and Joanne has got the glitter ball before her brother.

ellenanora5 · 17/12/2016 21:02

Thanks everyone for the company throughout the series, its been great fun, sometimes more entertaining than the actual dancing Smile

I never watch the Christmas show so catch everyone next time around Grin

A quick google of Strictly Curse will get you all sorts of versions of this.

Beware of anything the ever delightful James and Ola hint at though Smile

ilovesooty · 17/12/2016 21:03

I can imagine the votes must have been based on the night rather than the series. The bookies will be relieved.

MrsJayy · 17/12/2016 21:04

We all need to watch the Gary Barlow thing when it starts it will be a pile of crap but something to watch

MoonriseKingdom · 17/12/2016 21:05

What is that Gary Barlow thing about?

bookbook · 17/12/2016 21:06

I only watch GBBO and SCD , and now GBBO has deserted ship - what is the Gary Barlow thing?

OurBlanche · 17/12/2016 21:06

Oh an yes, Ricky and Natalie did... which is almost certainly why Danny has been seen to set Oti away from him on a number of occasions.

Not that she is/they are doing anything wrong (as seems to have been suggested here before), but he is aware of how Carly Stenson will feel.

PurpleDaisies · 17/12/2016 21:06

Whag actually is that Gary Barlow thing?!

ElizaSchuyler · 17/12/2016 21:08

The Barlow is casting for his new musical I think.

MrsJayy · 17/12/2016 21:09

He is searching for take that for his stage show I think anyway Martin Kemp is a judge so that's me sold Grin starts first weekend in January

CaveMum · 17/12/2016 21:10

Gary has written a musical based based around Take That's music. It's a story about a fictional boyband and they're auditioning the cast via the programme, just like they did for Maria (Sound of Music), Joseph (and the Technicolour Dreamcoat) and Nancy (Oliver).

GrinchyKiwi · 17/12/2016 21:11

Well that definitely sounds missable.

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/12/2016 21:12

Ah thanks OurBlanche I don't know how I missed that.
Hmm, maybe I love Nat a little bit less now.

DiegeticMuch · 17/12/2016 21:13

The Christmas special seems bland and second rate by comparison. There's also the knowledge that the presenters and judges are at that point enjoying Christmas nowhere near the studio and possibly not even watching it - I prefer live shows, they have more impact.

DiegeticMuch · 17/12/2016 21:14

Ooooooh Martin Kemp. I'm in!

bookbook · 17/12/2016 21:17

erm , not for me I don't think - will tell my DD though - she was a massive Take That fan - ( well a Robbie fan tbh!)
