The Series doesn't end on Christmas Day, it will end on 17th Dec as scheduled. There is a pre-recorded Christmas Special shown on Christmas Day.

The Final will be a 3 couple Final instead of a 4 couple Final, they changed the format a few years ago to ensure a minimum of 3 in the Final in case of people having to pull out early.

They will have a three person final Eve. Usually they have a four person final and one celeb leaves after the first dance. So it's still the same number of weeks.

Oh and thanks for all the congrats. Both DD and this little one are very much longed for having both been conceived with fertility treatments.

How exciting cavemum. Ppeatfruit I didn't remember the Chicago numbers, I found them on YouTube. It seems weird they did two Chicago numbers last year. I'd forgotten how good G&G's charleston was, wow.

I guess the West Side story number was a late bonus, as at the start of the series they expected to have five couples in the quarter finals?

G&Gs Chicago Charleston was one of my favourite dances of last season.

Interesting to see the training footage on ITT tonight.

Danny is struggling with his Salsa (ironic given it's probably the least technical dance of the lot!) and Louise looked very out of her comfort zone in the Samba footage.

Claudia could well struggle with her Quickstep, her shorter legs (in comparison to AJ) are going to be a hinderence.

It's surprising that Danny is having trouble with the salsa, his cha cha and his samba were both very good.

I reckon they're sandbagging to give him a bit of journey. Don't stop believing, Danny.

Did you notice poor Gorka struggling to keep up with Zoe's runaway conversation? He seems to struggle with english a bit. Soooo cute though I liked his kicks n flicks shame he didn't become the top of the leader board. I'm not sure I'm young enough to appreciate the expressions that poor Zoe and the entrants obviously HAVE to put on while waiting for the results

When all the other pros said Gorka was the one to beat in the challenge, I just knew he was going to tank.

I have just laughed a lot at Neil getting ALL of his jive kicks disallowed. I did think that it looked a lot more like jogging on the spot than dancing.

It was ridiculous wasn't it! At least he was consistent!

Can't believe how many crystals get sewn on the costumes Not all by hand, surely? I can barely sew on a couple of buttons and mend a tear without getting cramp in my hand

That'd make more sense! I'd probably get glue all over my hands and then on the material in the wrong place & then pass out from the fumes

Yes the crystals are glued on, but again all by hand. I seem to recall they use little stick-like implements to dab the glue on and then another stick/tweezers to pick up each crystal. I wouldn't have the patience!

You can get hotfix stones which are ready glued, but generally it's glue on a stick then stone on a stick. I've only replaced/added a few, I don't think I could do a whole dress!
