I am hoping by the end of this thread Phelan will have disappeared, Anna and family will have moved away and someone will have remembered to book a babysitter for baby Jack.

They've handled Anna's recovery terribly! It was the same when Sophie was paralysed. And siobhan was paralysed. And cathy was knocked over. And Steve was depressed. And max was diagnosed with adhd....... its ridiculous.

And David's epilepsy has cleared up. It's a miracle!

And Tracey's kidney transplant never mentioned.

I think Tracey did have some kind of kidney related relapse a while back and she went on about her kidney medication when she was locked somewhere recently (bistro?) to stop her ruining Carla's wedding?

Yes re David's epilepsy! Very irresponsible of his mum and sister to lock him in a cellar for all that time, given he could have potentially had an epileptic fit, but was that mentioned.........

Anna hobbling around delivering Christmas cards, what nonsense. She could send Faye or Gary around with them surely.

Just caught up with yesterday's. Aw such shame everything off? Why woulnt they just still be together?

Where is she supposed to go a week before Christmas? Is Alex supposed to move out too?

I'm a bit confused as to where Alex actually lives. Cathy slept in his bed the other night, and sometimes he turns up late, so there must be somewhere else that he spends the night.

He moved in with them when Nessa threw him out then moved to whoever. I guess he stays with friends when he dosnt go home.

Does anyone else recognise the actor who played the estate agent? He looks really familiar but can't work out who he is...

I thought the estate agent was similar to one of Gail's previous husbands - the one who drowned in the Lakes - but he was not old enough.

yes - that was him - Tina's father (or rather he was Reece Dinsdale) but he looked much too young.

Just watched yesterday's Corrie. Where was Ken when Luke came to tea?

The silliest bit yesterday was Kathy yelling "Beggar off!" Never heard anyone say that and lived in Manchester all my life.....

I'm not far from Manchester, and I have grown up hearing the phrase "begger off"

I'm sure I remember seeing Mary's mother once years ago. She called her mummy and it was all about wierd.

I love Mary, hope she finds her son. feel like I've missed something though, with the beginning of the storyline, how did it come up that she suddenly mentioned the son?

She was acting strange ( even for Mary) and Erica caught her burning something in the yard

It was dark, Andy crept up behind Phelan and knocked him unconscious,and yet Phelan 'saw' Andy.

so now phelan is going to have andy over a barrell cos he knows he was the one that hit him.
wasnt it the same when annas son hit him over the head , he blackmailed anna and her family into doing what he wanted

What multi-talented people live on the street. It seems any one of them can turn their hand to sewing knickers, and now the most unlikely people can run a cafe; not to mention the various cab drivers. Is Tyrone still a cabbie, as well as his garage job and the scrap metal?
